My Profile :BE(Electrical and electronics Engg) with 78% . Passing year - 2010 3+ year of experience. Campus placement landed me into IT field. I am now more into it. Before approaching for GRE i have certain doubts ?? I really want someone to please clarify .a) What is the process if i want to go for MS in Computer sciences . Since my BE was in EEE . So do i need to give any other exam for it. b) What are my chances to get a good college in US {focusing on scholarship} and what should i score to attain it.My first company was CSC noida and now i am working in Dell .
Have you already applied for the dates? You have a good profile. 310 is a good score but ideally you should aim for 320. Scholarships depends on the school u want to seek your education from. Even if the school does not provide you scholarships , they compensate it by giving you RA's, so don't worry for that. For now try to bring a good score in your GRE's. Good Luck. 1) Can we get gud score jut with two month of preparation and coaching?

Hi , I have done my graduation in 2010 with 72% and got 89% in 10th and 69% in 12 th (BSEB)I have a work ex of 3 yrs , i had started to prepare for GRE but wasn't able to focus , will i get time to apply for the fall courses if i give GRE in feb end or jan last week .Kindly reply
hi..I have done my graduation 2011 80 plus percent in 10th and 12th and 77% in Eng-IT(mumbai university).I have 2 years of work exp in development.I am yet to take gre. I have the following queries. 1) Am i still eligible for fall 14? If yes, then what are d the deadlines . 2) Among NEU,BU MET and BC which one should be preffered for MS in CS. 3) I guess in general the number of credits taken are 30 but BU MET CS has mandatory 40 credits(additional 12 credits for thesis)..is it advisable to go for more credits?? 4) How is UMass Amherst?? I have done graduation in 2012 in IT with 76% , 12th in 2008 with 86% and 10th in 2006 with 88.4%. I have work experience of one year. Now i want to start preparation for GRE. Is there any chances that i can get admission in fall by next year?? Please guide me to prepare for GRE so that i can get admission in fall 2014. I am not opting for any coaching. I know it is too late but guide me with the time deadlines that i should follow to get admission in a good university in fall next year.

Hey im rohit...im planning to write gre xam again in 1st week of dec 2013. Can anyone suggest me whether it would be a good time to write the xam or should i drop the idea of applying for fall 2014. In my 1st attempt i got a score of 300 (154 quant and 146 verbal). Please help me out in suggesting the way ahead as i wanna apply for fall 2014...

Hi guys, I finally took my GRE on 13th december and scored a 328. This was my second attempt and I am happy that I have been able to improve a lot. The last time I had scored on 314. What I changed this time
For verbal, I used the GRE Verbal Grail this time. I realized that I was lacking a lot on RCs on the last attempt and didn't know the right way to tackle questions. Also my vocabulary for text completions and sentence equivalence wasn't good and this time I used the 45 day GRE vocab book to improve my vocabulary.
I worked really hard on verbal for the last 2 months and because of hardwork only i have been able to do well
For quant, i used Manhattan 5 lbs GRE book. There were a lot of practice questions for quant in the book .the verbal questions were not good though. The quant questions are quite good though.
My tips for doing well is to prepare consistently and really practice gre like questions..take a few full length tests too. All the best to all the GRE test takers on this forum. You guys rock bros!
