IBPS RRB Officer Scale 1 Interview Questions

as I had lot of free time there I discussed with many people regarding interview Questions:

1. Prepare "Tell me about Yourself" but they didn't asked this question, but they asked related to this, like, What is your father's profession? If your father is not in bank, then next que was Why do u choose banking? similarly for mother and your siblings.

2. 3-4 questions related to your graduation.

The people who did graduation in some uncommon stream told me that no banking related questions was asked to them or only one or two banking questions.

which were those streams ? ( BTech in Cosmetic Technology, Hotel Management, Production Engineering, BArch, )

3. Hobbies + Extracurricular activities

4. Situation based questions

5. Related to banking :

What was the need for RRB?

How RRBs work?

How RRBs can earn Profit?

Why NPA are more in RRB?

How to recover loans given to farmers?

What is NABARD?

What are functions of NABARD?

Is there really need of institution like NABARD?

How to open bank Account?

Why bank account is important?

What is mean by Cashless Transactions?

Cheques DD

RBI Monetary Policy.

Functions of RBI 

Basics questions related to CRR, SLR, MSF, Repo, Reverse Reop

KYC

To which loans security is not required?

7. They ask questions to check whether your are really willing to work in rural areas or u just came for namesake.

8. How many marks you expect you will get in exam?

9. Did you joined Coaching for banking preparation? Does it really necessary?



No questions like When RRBs came into existence? In which year? By recommendations of which Committee? I mean no or very less questions related to Static Banking Questions.

I was asked to write a few lines on a topic of my choice in Hindi.

Questions:

1. Introduce Yourself.  

2. Why didn't you sit For campussing?

3. When did you begin preparation?

4. Exams which you gave till now.

5. GD Topic in SBI PO interview

6. SBI PO interview questions

7. Name any 3 recent international news.

8. Name all the political parties in Syria.

9. They said they will give me a tagline and I have to speak 2 mins on that topic:

a. State of Economy of India

b. Capital Infusion in Banking Sector

c. Economic Sector Reforms by the new Government

d. Financial Inclusion Efforts by RBI and the GoI

10. New ordinances or bills passed by the Parliament.

11. Explain them. It was a Rapid fire round. Harly lasted 8 MIns.

I was asked to write a few lines on a topic from the newspaper given by them. I wrote word to word.

5. What new thing would you do as an officer in Rrb officer to make a difference

11. Is Madame tussauds going to come to India? Is there a wax museum in India?

12. What is Suraksha bandhan yojana?

14. Tell me about various loans given to the farmers by the RRBs.

was nervous..first banking interview.

5...4:1 male female.

boss at the centre asked: toh bataiye aapke baare mein..tell me some thing about u "MR"

me: introduced..

boss: hmm...engg...did u try PSU's?

me:yes...explained why i wasnt able to succeed...(he asked me to explain)

boss2:why banking?

me:explained(added preparing for last 1 year)

madam:tell me about the insurance policies. me :answered

boss again:do u know which state was newly formed...then also asked about survey in telengana.

me:answered the 1st...survey i dint knew much...surprised because i belong/giving intvw in other state..not AP.

boss2:asked abt POS...rupay.... me : answered....

boss3:asked me to say about RRB in the regional language....explained...he doubted whether i knew the local language.

boss4:tell me about pension scheme....answered.

boss3:gave me local news paper and asked me to read it out...did...

before intvw....we had to write a paragraph on any subject in the languages....

time 8.30 am

there were 6 members in interview (5m+1f)

1- they asked me about my family and profession of my mother and father.

2- then about my place and business of people in my state.

3 they asked me what u have read then i say some terms and from them one member asked me to explain bank functions.

4- next question is what is mutual fund( as i used this term in bank functions)

5- what is opec

6- how rbi control inflation

7- hdfc app chillr

8- what is motivation behind coming to banking sector

9 anyone u related to is in banking sector

10 your a/c is in which bank

interview lasted for 10 minutes.. just one advice is for candidates whatever terms you use during answering any ques. u should know about each and every term because they always do cross questioning..

(eg. i said i know about banking operation they asked me about it then during that ans i used mutual fund they asked me what is mutual fund and then i used inflation, they asked me how rbi control inflation)
