@prateek987 for SBI in specialist officer role (systems) which is same as it officer those who had a Btech in CSE or IT are only eligible. since ibps conducts for a list of PSB's ... will ECE guys be elligible for IT officer roles in all the PSB's in list given by ibps or will it differ for each bank. do you have any idea ?

@htmailr if u have experience go for IT..say no to technical....but u should decide scale 1 or 2....written will have more weightage so that should be a first concern...

importance of experience will depend how well you can convince the interviewer in the interview round that your experience is relevant to the post and will help you in performing your duties better than a person with no experience. It will depend on interviewer whether he buys it or not. But the game is open to all, no one is having an unfair advantage over the other. Anyone can be a better candidate, the thing is how you convince hr that you deserve it.. But that will matter at a later stage. For now clearing the written is the thing that matters.
The only area of concern is the. No of. Vacancies being posted by banks for. Scale 1 n 2. Everyone knows Tht scale 2 vacancies last yr was very few whereas the vacancies for scale 1 was relatively good. So what wud u do. With the score when u wudnt get the much opportunity to utilize that. That is the only area of concern for me and that is why I am opting for scale 1.

buddy buy bsc or kiran pub books .. or go to testfunda or bankpower.in and purchase the test series
@Ani1308 Is the level of ques in aptitude section same in bank PO and IBPS SO exam? I noticed that we can give a free mock in testfunda for PO, so if the level is same it can be of help.. If you have some idea, or for that matter if anyone who has appeared for both exams ie PO and SO has any idea about this, please comment..
