I filled exam center as Bangalore but got it somewhere 300Kms away in Mangalore.
....we need to fill a petition against them, there crappy systems have allotted wrong centers o everybody this should be escalated.

PO and SO, both have same package(Salary Structure)
PO- you will need to do some accounting and verification of cheques at a branch..
SO- mostly technical work.. in case of it officer-supervision of IT softwares and services and their installation in case of an new service being set up/
Workload will depend on the branch you are posted in.. but usually SO will have a lot less work than a PO, but he/she may be required to go on business tours..
posts are a lot more for PO than SO.. so its comparitively easier to crack..

If anyone has their center in Mathura (like Sachdeva Institute, GLA University, Hindustan College etc.) and has exam on 17th 8:30 shift, please PM me.
There are four of us:- @sonusikka , @abnv007 , @nishantpisces89 and me. We all are from Delhi/Noida and are planning to go by cab and would be more than happy if someone wants to join. It would be a hell lot cheaper for all if more people go together.
So if willing, please PM with your Phone numbers at most by Sunday.

in the booklet given by ibps on their site, they have shown different model questions for IT Officer scale 1 and scale 2.. scale 2 model ques was from mounting in Unix whereas last year there was no ques from unix in previous year it officer scale 1 exam.. so i assume both will have different papers.

i am in great confusion bro...i have just cleared IBPS PO CI and got good combined marks and will sure be allotted some bank. allotment may be sooner or later. so i am confused should i travel 500+ Kms to take IBPS SO exam, though i have prepared for that as well...
