see, if you are sure about selection in PO and are happy with the job role then its your wish.. PO mein growth hai to specialist officer mein aaram ki job hai, but not good growth.. just ask yourself, what type of job you want..

@AnkitChoudhary1 Hmmm..Thanks Ankit but I am appearing in the exam for the first tym.. I have applied for scale-2.. wud be glad if sm1 who has appeared previously is able to clear the doubt..

dekho, agar khush ho toh maybe its time to hang your boots.. and brace yourself for a PO life after taking some rest.. agar salary ke liye ya govt job ke liye hi try kar rahe ho toh bhi its cool if you skip ibps and go for PO..coz you have met your objectives..but thats applicable just for you as you said you have scores good enough to guarantee you a post as PO..so take it easy, discuss with your parents and friends and decide..

i am applying for the first time too.though for scale 1..

@Paty and so far i havent seen anyone on this thread who has appeared for IT officer scale 2..lets hope we find someone who has.. but most of us will opine that both have different set of ques for scale 1 and scale 2..

the thing is that and you know also that everyone wants a job...currently i am jobless and if i skip PO joining can't guarantee that will get in SO and if i join PO and then also crack SO. then have to pay the bond amount to quit PO and join SO

if you want a job then give ibps so written exam to be safe.. if you get joining date for PO and join by the time interview date comes, skip interview of SO.. agar govt job hi chahiye, and you get it as PO, then bond amount pay karke SO mein q aana..
