applied for tech officer nd going by people s reviews thought pk section will be a cake walk but that section turned out to be the horror of year. it was packed with all unheard marketing, computer nd mechanical questions. rocked in other sections but pk turned out to be a disaster. IBPS the evil......... never mentioned anything about syllabus.

got only 1 job so far.... joined pagalguy just 4 months back...
and I am giving competitive exams since oct 2012...

cutoff is always the same...for all subjects,..and is FIXED BEFORE HAND..
it is 24 out of 50..
but remember 24 is the standard score..not the actual marks

@metallurgy well u did 21 ques with accuracy 90% that means yr actual score is near about 15 smthing ..and from the toughness in the section of reasoning i thought cout-off will be 13-14 ..so u will easily qualify...

@prateek987 yup brother thats what i m saying its after normalization of the score based on the minor difficulty level as quoted by IBPS.For ex anyone who has attempted arnd 25 with 90% accuracy can get a score of 27-28 in that particular section based on the difficulty level.
and what if that section is relatively easy and others have attempted 40-50 in tht section but u cud only attempt 23 with 100% accuracy.. I mean 23 raw score in easiest section would also mean bcz mere sath quant me yeh hua maine bht less time diya so... rest all were too good.. but in quant I cud attempt only 23 with 100% accuracy.. so may I keep any hope for quant sectional or not? :P

@tiwarignt yar first of all ye bata ki tum log accuracy kaise judge kar pate ho..aur koi software laga hai ..to hamesa paper hone ke bad hi kyon active hota hai vo ..usi time active kar liya karo na..

haan allow me to explain..?
agar section easy hain AND you attempted less tehn you can fail to cross that 24 mark...
easy paper.. actual marks required...26...
tough paper..actual marks ....required 14...
above i just an example..

but why are you assuming ppl wud have done very well in quant..everything is a speculation i believe 23 questions all correct can fetch you 28-30 standard score meaning pass..chillax
