even i dint apply for anything before, this is going to be my first exam that i will be applying for.. PO 2013 is yet to be announced

Electronics and communication background student can apply for the post of IT Officer scale II having one year experience in IT. I am asking this because i think there is mismatch between the graduation subjects and experience area. Please Help me out in this.
