A slight correction,
10611 candidates were called by UBI for interview process
2473 will be selected out of them in UBI only
nOW, going by the assumption that these 2473 will get multiple converted calls isnt practical cozTheir score card will be ceased as soon as they get 1 call converted( taking an assumption that everybody will respond on joining call)
Moreover, Bank's HRD with a little brains(for eg. PNB) - have delayed the interview till may,so the banks currently pursuing interviews will soak candidates being called,so that the same people aren't called again for another interview...
I think same people (at the top) will be called again and again for interview. And they will get multiple converts because you cant take their score card till he/she joins.
If Interviews are over in February itself, its very likely that joining will be before May.How many will be willing to sacrifice a sure job?
Can anyone please tell me if anyone has received call letter from any other bank except UBI? I am from Delhi and I am in Mumbai right now, I am really tensed about it. I would really appreciate if someone could answer it asap.

in ibps specialist officer exam (it officer) scale 2 ...one year experince is required ....is one year banking experince is required or one year it experince is required??

the experience in your desired specialization is required.. like: if u're applying for IT-spacialist officer-scale-2 , then 1 yr experience in IT is required..

dude are u sure abt the score cards being ceased ?? from where have u got this info may i ask ?

It will be held on 11th March 2012 for specialist officers. No advertisement is published this year for generalist officers.
Banks now will open for only five days of week from Monday to Friday..
According to the reports the Govt. of India has finalised the decision for banks and the reports have been provided to Various Association of Indian banks and Reserve bank of India.. The finalised report states that Bank will open for 5 Days of week(Monday to Friday).. But in view to the consumer benefits the Daily timings of Bank has been raised to 6 P.M (Making it 10am to 6pm)so that customers could not be affected.. The decision could soon come into effect from 1 April 2012 if everything goes fine after official declaration.

In my application filled for IBPS i gave my year of passing(degree) as 2010. Actually my course was over by June 2010 but my month of passing is April 2011(which qualifies the eligibility criteria).
Can this cause any problem in my selection process??
How can i change my details??

Guys I'm from general category. My total weighted standard score is 138 n lowest individual mark is 24(meeting eligibility criteria for selection as of now). What are my chances?? How many months more i wil have to wait to get shortlisted 4 an interview?? :)

as per the notification by the bank no physical letter will be sent

In all rare chances..
Many bank ask to fill the form but shortlisting may not go up to that.....
Till now you are on the eligibility line for applying....
kafi log bol rahe hai ki 140 ko touch kar sakati hai.....
if CWE will be conducted yearly then there are some chances....

You cant change....
but don't worry.....
this happened more then 30% candidates....Date of passing is confusing...
I have called BOI abt this they said you should be grad. before the required date,and have some proof of that.....
You will be eligible...
(preferably date of mark sheet = date of passing)
so

But try to convince them
Guys plzzz help me, will other banks also ask for more than 60%marks in grad just like BOI, PNB, Canara bank....Im getting very tensed as all the banks are asking for more than 60% in graduation....Im feeling that after scoring 180 marks in IBPS PO/MT, I will not be able to become a PO/MT because of my grad score....If you have any info about the notification and eligibility criteria of other banks kindly please reply me.
