37376 is latest gross salary(basic+DA)..
37376 - 3700(NPS) + 900 to 1200(HRA) + 0 to 540(CCA) + other perks applicable to individual banks approximately like ----> petrol(if you have own car/bike at place of posting) of 2500 AND canteen subsidy of 250 AND mobile contribution of 300 + some annual perks of Entertainment 5000 AND medical 5000(subject to bills) AND Newspaper 3000.
Therefore on calculating it ill be around 35000(minimum) to 38000(maximum) IN-HAND apart from yearly perks depending on bank and place of posting.
what will be the new gross salary after(basic and da) for new entrants in banks as officers???

Current Salary structure in BOM PO:
Earnings:
Basic- 14500
DA- 15921 ( 109.8% on Basic) => check IBA website
HRA- 942.5 ( 6.5% on Basic)==> semi-urban location
Gross Earnings = 31363.5
Deductions:
PF/NPS= 3042
Professional Tax = 200
Gross Deduction = 3242
Net Pay = 28121.5 ==> Take away home
After 15% increment : ( approx )
gross earnings = 37,500 ==> semi-urban location
Net pay = 34,000 ==> Take away home
Those already joined last year==> accumulated arrears roughly=> till june==> 40,000
perks that banks offers normally ==> newspapers allowance, petrol, home rent, furniture( comparatively large allowance),

Now to be at top level, you need 18+ yrs banking experience, then why not every PO becomes CMD of bank==> Big banks like SBI, hve big competition for getting promoted...There are lots of talented PO in the bank hence fight=> bootlicking=> hence to reach at scale 4 takes almost 18-22 yrs bcz of competition..many get retired even before to reached at scale 6..
Now on other side, mid size banks have greater scope here=> get quick promotion than big banks... hence possibility is more here to reach at top level...

Now those who are new and those who is expecting of non-selection n
giving this year IBPS, here's some insights for you....
For Written/Online Exam =>
* Solve 2 complete paper weekly and a thorough analysis of those paper.. Better you buy any solved IBPS paper book...
* Daily read one English newspaper=> Any among Hindu, Economic times, etc=> Focus mostly on economy part ( Helps in PI )
* Prepare your own world lists...Taken from newspaper...
* Read an economic/banking related article...use google/newspaper article
* Focus on accuracy=> When you solves the papers, do not take it casually.. Check how many solved and how many correct=> Practice well till you can achieve 90% accuracy...Why??=> If 120 mins, you can solve on average 130 ques( medium difficulty level). which makes your score around 114... Then why everyone do not score this mark?=> Lack of above things mentioned...Do not try to mark 160-170..many try to mark 20-40 ques in last 5 mins..wrong practice!
* Almost everyone struggle with one of the section=> try to compensate it with other=>How??=> more and more practice..and analyze your score..
For PI==>
* Develop presentation skills=> How?=> mirror practice/mock interview/friends taking your interview...
* Analyze where you lacks..
* Newspaper reading helps you a lot in interview...
* Confidence in your answer..
* correct your abnormal behavior while answering=> mirror practice/friends/mock PI

To all who are calculating basic pay, here is a glimpse of facts which you should know,

1. In the 9th settlement the hike was 17%, but this time it was 15%. However the hike last time includes that of gratuity, retirements benefits and so on. But this time, the hike is purely salary and allowance components.
2. 60.15% of the DA will be merged with basic so the basic, so it amounts to Rs.23,222. Including the 2% load factor, it will be Rs.23700 when rounded off. Now 15% cannot be simply added to basic as few claim. Since allowances are dependent on basic pay.
3. For example, if the total monetary benefits provided to a staff which includes basic, all allowances, medical aid, LTA etc is Rs.100 so far, then now the banks has accepted to provided Rs.115 cumulatively for all allowances. Now the split need to be made about how much increase should be done for each allowance. Many allowances which will also be hiked will not be eligible or will not be available regularly for all employees, like the hill allowances or the halting allowances. All allowances will increase with increase in basic pay, so the increase in basic pay will be done so that the other allowances can also be increased.
