Lady was so nice , it seemed i am talking to my mother.

I was wearing spectacles but in photograph there were no specs. They asked about that, My hair was bit lengthy and different syled in photo. Thet asked why. Then mam was telling "kisi nayi movie ne hero ne aisa style rakah hoga tabhi isne bhi change kar liya hoga".

M1 : apne bare me bataye

told in hindi

M1: family ke bare me 

M2: agar bank me ho jaoge to chhod ke to nahi jaoge

F1: account kholne ke liye kya document chahye

F1: loan kese doge

M3:agar ek sath 100 current account kholne ho to kya karoge

One person was from my native place

He asked the altitude of my place. asked why it is famous. The person from my place was always smiling everytime when i was seeing him.

My Interview Experience:- Date - 24 JAn 2015

Time - 1 pm. Qualification- B.Tech(Mechanical)

Place- Hotel Arya Ranchi Panel -2

Our document verification started at around 12 noon as panel chairman had to go to somewhere at 4 pm.My interview started at 12.30 pm. There were 4 gentleman and a lady in the panel.

First i wished the lady Good Afternoon and than to all the gentleman.They told me- Please take your seat.

Chairman - Tell me about your self. Me - Told. In between chairman asked which company u were working?

Me - sir iGATE global solution ltd.

Chairman- Very good.What was the location of your job? Me- Sir Mumbai.

Chairman- Where in Mumbai?(in Hindi) Me- Sir Airoli Navi Mumbai.

M2- Yes. i have went Airoli.( in hindi).Kitne samay tak job kiye? me - Sir 2 year and one month.

Chairman- why you left your job? iGATE is a good company?

ME- sir i was working as an Analyst and i am from non IT background.So sir i was in dilemma whether i should continue in IT sector or i should look for some other career option.Meanwhile i took a bold decision and resigned from IGATE and started preparing for baking exam

M2- so u were not satisfied with the role?

ME- Yes sir. Chairman- How will be u useful for bank?(in hindi

ME(in hindi)- sir our client was an insurance company and i had to take client calls daily. As they were our customers so i had to convince them on various issue.so sir i can handle customers and can solve their grievances. chairman(smilingly) ok we will keep u in customer grievances department.

M3( A young guy)-Bank me jyada vacancy hai isliye aana chahte hain ya sach me bank me aane ka man hai?

ME- sir jyada vacancy bhi ek karan hai aur iske sath bank me promotion aspects bhi bahut accha hai. M3 looks satisfied. then chairman told me thanku and all the best. My interview lasted for around 10 - 12 min.

i Found panel member very cordial and friendly. Lady and one other member not asked me any thing. They didn't asked a single question on banking and current affairs which i had prepared well. I don't how was my interview but hoping for the best for final result.

SHGs-self help groups

. A group 10-20 member of poor people collected together to help each other, particularly, in economic matters. It is generally practiced in villages. o Each member represents a family. They have same socio-economic background. o This is particularly done for very poor people who are excluded from banking system.

. They meet and save money on regular basis. The collected amount is deposited in a Sav/Ac of a Bank. The acc is on the name of the group. 3 members are nominated, among whom any two can go together, to withdraw and deposit money.

. They use this money for internal lending at an interest rate of 2 to 3 Rupee over 100 in a money.

. They are eligible to take loans from the bank. o It is given to the group, not to individual member. All are collectively responsible for it. o The interest rates charges on it are decided by banks. o No collateral security. o The amount of loan is 1 to 4 times its savings. o The repayment is done by the group. o Purpose of the loan is decided by SHG members collectively. o Women are preferred over men because  Their track record of paying back is better.  For promotion women empowerment.

. Who helps in the formation of SHGs ? o Non Governmental Organisations(NGOs) o Social workers

. Documents submitted while taking loans from bank? o Inter-se Agreement o Application of loan o Articles of Agreement for use by the bank while financing SHGs.

. Documents required to open an Sa/Ac account. o A Resolution, signed by all members. o An authorization of at least 3 members, any two of whom, to jointly operate their account. o A Sav/Ac passbook, on the name of SHG, issued.

iv. President Obama received a 21 gun salute at the forecourt of the Rashtrapati Bhavan and then met the President Pranab Mukherjee. Prime Minister Narendra Modi and his council of ministers were also present.

2. Edgar Lungu swron in as New President of Zambia

i. Edgar Lungu was sworn in as new President of Zambia and became the countroy's sixth President.

ii. The 58-year-old former defense minister from the ruling Patriotic Front (PF) was declared the winner yesterday of an election to replace the late Michael Sata, who died in office in October.

iii. He takes over the remainder of Sata's term until a general election scheduled for September 2016.

3. RBI lifts ban on carrying 1,000 & 500 bank notes to and from Nepal

i. Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has lifted a ban on carrying Indian bank notes of Rs 1,000 and 500 denominations to and from Nepal. ii. RBI issued a circular eased the restriction on export and import of bank notes of 1,000 and 500 denominations for Nepal and Bhutan that it had imposed since May, 2000.

iii. The Indian central bank, however, has put a limit of carrying such notes at Rs 25,000 per person. iv. Nepalese Government officials say lifting of the ban will provide a great relief to Nepali workers as well as Indian tourists travelling to Nepal.

4. US will help India for building smart cities

i. India has signed three Memorandums of Understanding, MoUs, with the United States for building of smart cities in Visakhapatnam, Allahabad, and Ajmer.

ii. These memorandums were signed in the presence of Union Urban Development Minister, M Venkaiah Naidu and United States Trade Development Agency, USTDA Director, Leocadia I. Zak. Addressing the gathering, Mr Naidu said, the people of both countries are looking forward to work for the betterment of the world.

5. 5th National Voters' Day being celebrated today

i. The Fifth National Voters' Day is being celebrated across the country today. Election Commission organized a function in New Delhi which was presided over by former president A.P.J. Abdul Kalam.

ii. The objective of the programme is also to increase enrolement of voters, especially of the newly eligible ones.

iii. Addressing the gathering, the Chief Election Commissioner HS Brahma said that the political parties have more responsibility than Election Commission to improve the quality of good governances in the country.

6. Renowned Marathi writer M D Hatkananglekar passes away

i. Renowned Marathi literary critic, writer and translator M D Hatkananglekar died this morning. He was 89.

ii. He was admitted to the hospital about a fortnight back due to old-age related health problems.

iii. Mr Hatkanaglekar was the president of Akhil Bhartiya Marathi Sahitya Sammelan. He was associated with a number of literary institutions in Maharashtra.

7. TRAI issues draft rules for full mobile number portability

i. The Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) has issued draft regulations to facilitate full mobile number portability, which is set to start from May 3.

ii. The full or nationwide mobile number portability (MNP) will allow consumers to change the service provider in any part of the country while retaining their existing number.

iii. At present, mobile number portability allows consumers to change their service provider within a telecom circle, which, in most cases, is limited to a State.

8. Padma Awards announced, Advani, Bachchan, Dilip Kumar get Padma Vibhushan

i. L K Advani, Amitabh Bachchan, thespian Dilip Kumar and Punjab Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal were chosen for this year's Padma Vibhushan award.

ii. Pamda Vibhushan  is the second highest civilian honour, as government gave a saffron touch honouring eminent people of various fields in this year's list of Padma awardees.

iii. Eminent lawyer K.K. Venugopal, D. Veerendra Heggade of the famous Dharmasthala Jain temple in Karnataka, eminent nuclear scientist M.R. Srinivasan and the Aga Khan were also chosen for Padma Vibhushan.

iv. Former CEC N. Gopalaswami, Microsoft chief Bill Gates and his wife Melinda were selected for Padma Bhushan in the list of 104 people whose names were released on the eve of Republic day.

v. This list comprises nine Padma Vibhushan, 20 Padma Bhushan and 75 Padma Shri awardees. 17 of them were women and equal number were in the category of foreigners, NRIs, PIOs and four posthumous awardees.

9. Saina retains Syed Modi crown

i. Saina Nehwal defeated reigning World Champion Carolina Marin of Spain to retain Syed Modi International Badminton Championships in Lucknow on Sunday.

ii. The World No.3 defending champion, Saina outplayed the Spanish in  19-21, 25-23, 21-16 sets and clinch the Grand Prix Gold crown at the Babu Banarasi Das Indoor Stadium.

iii. With the victory, Saina completed a hat-trick of wins against the second seeded Carolina in as many meetings between them. Also, this is Saina's first title of 2015.

Q1-Ask something about by name.

Q2-Asked about my work experience and why i left the job.

Q3-

What is Alternating Current and Direct Current and their difference.Asked some practical examples about AC.

Q4- A condition related to banking:

If it is late in the evening and a old man arrives at your branch with Rs 5 lakhs cash.You are alone in the branch and cash transaction have been closed.What will you do?

Ans- If the cash transactions have been closed then I can't accept the deposit from the old man as it will be risky for me.I have to ask him to return and come tomorrow during working hours of cash deposit.
