@maverick.ashu it means it totally depends upon prefrences by reserved cat....if obc 900 ranker has given boi as 1st prefrence and in general boi has vacant seat then he will qualify frm general......then i think it is unpredictable to decide rank...

Hope this process get clear soon.. as there are so may doubts abt it..
1) Cut off for each Category
2) Graduation % going to be consider by individual bank or nt..
3) Date of Joining... Cz by this one can have an idea to resign form thier current jobs as many do have notice period of 3 months...
@ALL guys i have 1 info i thought of sharing with you all......before telling this i want to make myself clear that i dn't want to mislead people on this forum nor want to give rise to more speculations......while i went to different branches so that i could get info for filling my preferences.....people over there in almost all branches are saying ki "nw banks dnt have bond anymore".....plz dnt criticize nor appreciate for this i m just sharing what i heard from people wrking in different banks....

@2013IsMine No it will nt take time after allotment as intimations has already given by FM tht atleast 63k students should get recruited by March 2013.. thts y IBPS has declared clerk result within 15 days so it becomes urge to them to place the candidates

And i also got to know that IDBI and UCO are getting merged with BOB within 2 years from an IDBI official himself and he told to join BOB as they IDBI employees may be subjected to secondary treatment after the merger, so my prefernce is now slowly shifting from IDBI to BOB , and plus it has got foreign posting opportunites also!..only concern is rural posting!
