that's right .... all 61k candidates will not be qualified and its a fact ...

how many will be passed by ibps ????? only as per vacancies means only 20000 ???? or all will be passed n get their total marks n after declaration of vacancies it will be known who r successful in this po 2 ???????
Even if they have tried to pas everyone,the no. of passed candidates in both interview and written would be surely less than 61k as many didnt appear for the interview...
@mayankkast @harvydent Realist approach rakhho, optimist, pessimist ban ke kuch nahi hona :P...sab paas nahi honge yeh bhi ho sakta hai, aur sab ho jayein yeh bhi possible hai (CBI didn't fail anyone in PO interviews).
hmm i think approx 55k ne intrvw diya hi hoga.. and agar 80:20 ka ratio apply nhi hoga toh palda kon jane kiska bhari ho jaye..

the merit list will be prepared on the basis of vacancy.... and firstly only those candidates are considered....
@daddykool yar here fail means not in merit list of po 2...................pass hokar bhi kya milega if not selected in merit list of 20000 vacancies approx......

hmm..
i guess ,they will select more individuals than no. of vacancy because many donot accept appointment letter in the end...so IBPS will try to be in safe zone ....

Even if everybody is passed which is quite a possibility , IBPS has itself said that it doesn't guarantee a seat in a bank if your position is not among the total number of vacancies.
@harvydent hey m no one to decide the result & my marks are 173 in written so m not worried about my disqualification
But there are many our friends with low scores which are also in need of job
So m hoping & praying to god that no one will b disqualified & vacancy no will b much more so that more n more needy people like us get job....

Fail means not clearing the cut off for interview...baaki tarah tarah ke fails ho sakte hain :D
@kajju i think they will pass 30k in case of 22k vacancies in order to reserve a waiting list of 8k as they know their are many from po 1 already selected n may not join in po 2.......
