Ibps po3 , clerk 3 and rrb discussion

This year, the written cutoff is 61 out of 200 which turns out to be 24.4 out of 80. So if we add 20 marks of the interview, then we get 43.32

So, IBPS PO III expected cutoff for different categories is expected to be as follows:

Gen: Around 43

OBC: Around 39

SC: Around 35

ST: Around 24

What are the chances for those who have just cleared the written cutoff?

Those who have just cleared the written cutoff (score 61) need to score 90 or more in the interview so that they create a chance for themselves to be able to cross the cutoff mark of the first selection list. However, a score of 80 or above can ensure them a seat in the second selection list.

Those who have scored 70, will have to score 76 or more out of 100 in the interview to be safe for the first selection list.

Candidates with scores 80 in the written, need to score 55 or more in the interview in order to get shortlisted in the first list.

Candidates with more than 90 marks in the written exam need to just clear the interview (i.e. 40 out of 100) to see their name in the first selection list.

FOR THOSE WHO HAVE LESS MARKS IN IBPS PO 3

Now that everyone is waiting for their interview marks and the final cut off for selection I am here to inject some optimism to all the candidates who have scored less marks (60-70) in the written exam. As seen in most of the interview centres this time IBPS has given strict instructions to every centre to not allow people without proper documents whether it be OBC creamy layer certificates, degree pass certificates, NOC from employer. Last year candidates were allowed by giving an undertaking that they will submit the documents at a later date. But this time no one was allowed without even a single improper document. The day on which I personally had my interview saw 6 candidates out of 25 candidates in Panel 2 being rejected due to something related to their documents. They had pretty good marks like 75-85. On a formal take with the officials at the interview venue I found out that every day 20-25 candidates were being rejected out of the 100 called daily for interview. This shows that about 20-25% candidates were rejected before appearing the interview.Though it is heart breaking for those candidates who were not allowed to appear at the interview process it is also a boon for those who have less marks in written exam. Also with these people who were rejected there were also many candidates who were absent on that day. This reduces the competition further.Even after selection there will be many candidates who will not join due to not getting proper place of posting. Specially female candidates if they get posted in other states will not join mostly. So no matter what happens whoever has appeared in the interview has a fair chance of selection. So friends dont loose hope and just pray to God for now.

There is a new jargon payslip component. As per union leaders statement 5 pc on payslip component is equal to 3 pc of basic hence 9.5 pc of payslip is proportionately 6 pc of basic. Correct me If I am wrong this 9.5 pc can be actually taken as 6 pc offer as we analyse vis a vis previous settlements where this Jargon was never used So in correct words its 6 pc hike.

"It makes no sense to worry about things you have no control over because there's nothing you can do about them, and why worry about things you do control? The activity of worrying keeps you immobilized."
Worrying about cutoffs, dates, chances of selection, hows my interview etc are actually distracting (/immobility towards) from IT officer/SO preparation & other exams.
So stop worrying & stop believing in anyone else (bechare blogger's) predictions specially about cutoffs & chances of selection cos they are either wild guesses or calculations without taking proper samples(only last year's as base data is not sufficient).
Start preparing for next exams. All the very best puys !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!πŸ˜ƒπŸ˜ƒ

what is the cut off for ibps clerk for mumbai region? suppose one have cleared all sections with total 102 marks in gen cat. will he be called for interview?

Dosto, Found this file very useful regarding the expected Minimum Final Cut offs for PO 3...So Thought of Sharing it with u guys.....Have a look.....🍻🍻🍻🍻

one thing is for sure buddies , ibps hasnt called 61 mark scorers to make fun of themselves. they also have some little chance to be in the list, and maximum marks given by ibps will be around 90. i.e 18/20. and dont compare po2 and po3. we cannot say how interview scores will vary but onethings for sure general cutoff wont go below 42 and above 44.4. i am not predicting its true.

puys tell me about bank of india , how is it??? Work Culture and etc etc....If u hv some gyan ..then plzz kindly contribute... I would love to hear about it mgmgmgmgmgmgmgπŸ‘ΌπŸ‘ΌπŸ‘ΌπŸ‘ΌπŸ‘Ό

Hey frenz plz help me out..! During the interview they asked me why I gave IDBI and ECGC as high preference over the other banks.. and I answered that they have more urban touch and salary structure is good..!! Then they asked me about my interest in rural areas.. i answered yes and gave examples of my frenz who are working there.. but after the interview many candidates said that my answer over the IDBI question was totally wrong and I can be failed in the interview..!! IS IT SO..??

do public sector banks give study leaves .......??

Suppose cut off IBPS PO 3 1st list (Gen) : 42.16
Mr. X with 69 (Topper) score allotted : ECGC/PNB/BOB

after 4 months..........

cut off for 2nd list(Gen) : 40.50
Mr. Z with 40.51 score allotted : ECGC/PNB/BOB

So friends just 4 months wait and one may be equivalent to topper of IBPS PO 3....
Think Positive Yaar....

in po-3 anyone above 91 and attended the interview is confirmed to get shorlisted.

Agree or not????????

How bad an interview must go for the candidate to fail? 😲
