any idea about the question pattern for IT Officer Scale II in the interview? will it be inclined to banking like PO or it will be inclined to IT? then also, can they ask to code sth in java/dotnet? or those will be based on basic concepts only? any help from experienced puys will be of great help!

Panel of 5 members.. 3-4 oldies; 3 of them actively participating in the interview, 1 was there to ask the technical queries while the last one was just observing..
Questions asked:
- Role of RBI in detail
- Who declares the holidays list of banks
- Role of Finance Ministry
- Role of IT in banking
- Rate of interests on Savings/CASA ratio/Repo Rate etc.
- About family
- Current Job experience (as I was working in an IT company)
- Why bank after Software Industry when you are earning so well.

2. Do they consider written exam marks+ interview marks for preparing the final merit list?
