i also have to take decision betbeen icfai,hyderabad/*/symbiosis intitute of telecom management,pune. i am a telecom engineer in final year.
please help me & give me complete anlysis

the placements of icfai are supposed to be good. as far as i know, the intake this year for hyderabad is around 650. also, my personal opinion is that icfai, hyd is better than sitm, pune. i don't think sitm holds a good position.

I feel Icfai has tooo many students to get all of them placed with decent placements. But their curriculum is really nice. So depends upon one's potential.
SITM is something related to ur background . So try to visit their campus n gather information about how much they hold n what can be ur future prospects in telecm sector.
the only thing which is of some concern is the student intake. gud institutes sweat it out to get their 120 students placed. icfai has 650.
apart frm the student intake...icfai hyd is gud. course curriculum is v gud...very focused. + icfai students do well in inter-bschool fests and competions.
Depends on the specialisation....
ICFAI is good for finance...I don't feel SITM is a good choice...
don't know much abt welingkar...
but if u r going for finance, go for ICFAI, or else go for welingkar because ot has the advantage of location, Mumbai...
see it depends on wht u want to specialise coz being a telcom engg if u want to remain in this industry then go for sitm but icfai is no doubt gud for finace but theer r other spec. fields as well in which u can major or minor..like-insurance, risk mgmt, finance, hr, mkt and few others..the curriculum of icfai also ther is a fool proof method to get evrybody placed..this yr they have taekn 550 students and not 650 and they plan to reduce this to 450 next yr..theer cud be an advantage of location for wellingkar but i guess icfai cud be better in the long run as they have put 200 crs in the new campus and the infrastructure so the rankings will definately improve in the future..
as far as the placement at ICFAI is concerned it is 2-7lakh for finance people

i think icfai(hyd) will be the best bet.. there is no doubt about their course structure and other material. welingkars is also good but i think if you really want to get something worth then go for icfai.

Really good cllg for opting finance avg package around 7 lakhs ..in marketing, placement was around 14 lakhs dis year ..highest 25lakhs national ,international was 37 lakhs ..intake around 1000 student previous year but 97% got placed ..better than if u compare with sitm....,,i do have a call from sitm and scit but still am choosing ibs hyderabad for my future..thanks alot
Hie, i have been selectd for sibm(inovation & entrepnrshp) and ibs hydrabad and shortlistd for xime but now i am confusd about selecting college among these. Sibm ranking is good bt there is no placmnt for i and e course. which college should i go for ?
I was in the same dilemma last year. After a bit of research and talking to my friends I found out that SITM, Pune is the best bet out of these. The reason being due to lower batch strength and lower fees, SITM provides the best ROI. Less no. of people in batch means greater chance at getting placed.
