Just confirmed from Prof Mathur that the 1st mail which we recieved from ICICI back for our confirmation is not thte one which we need to attach alongwith the DD. He asked to wait for 1-2 days, recieve the hardcopy, and send the scanned copy of the signed hardcopy. and do an online transaction. which "Terms and Conditions" doc have u guys attached while dispatching the coutier??
Dear VishSS, The same thing we will get in hard format from ICICI Bank that we had received on 22nd. If required we can send that doc through Email.
I don't think we need to wait as last date is 3rd of march.
Before dispatching , I confirmed with Prof Mathur regarding the doc asked by NIIT University. After getting confirmation from him, I send through Blue dart courier.

Same here..when I spoke to him he did mention the same doc which we received on 22nd and have already sent a signed copy to ICICI. NEver did he mention to me abt the heard copy of the T&C;.
What courier are you guys planning to send the docs through, i was thinking of BlueDart but i could not find out if they deliver there(Alwar Dist). I am sure EMS-Speed Post can deliver anywhere in India.
Any suggestions!
I've sent it thro. EMS-Speed Post today..promised to deliver by 2nd..hopefully it does Lol :P

I agree that after that our work is what going to matter but still i am in s/w industry and ppl do give preference to the degree ? how does it happen in the banking industry ...
Please note that this is one of the apprehension I have and want to have some feedback from you all!

I have had the same apprehensions since the day we got the selection letter.. we are going into this programme with some assumptions which no1 has an idea about.. I concure that the work-ex may supersede the degree
seniors and fellow aspirants , can you please suggest on the above scenario and share your thoughts on the same

Boss validity of a degree is not the question(as with most mba degrees in india), the real question is the weightage of that degree and how well does the industry percieve it.
Now this is something that develops over the years with the performance of the aluminis, rest assured u r getting a decent salary and a responsible post. U create value with the kinda work u do and looking at the class selection of this program I can tell u with confidence that it will be ranked amongst india's best in the coming time.
The branding is not a nights work and it will take years of sustained effort. Hoping we can do that for ourselves.
Just talked to prof. Shivendra....He will start acknowledging the receipt of DDs and other docs on Monday...if you do not receive it by then ...please feel free to mail/ call him with the supporting documents.
