Puys, are you seriously considering 'how much you will earn while studying?' as the decisive factor? How many courses in the country are as cheap as this one with financial assistance at the rate we are getting in this one and job guarantee as this one? I would suggest to more spend time on taking feedback on quality of education this university will provide, the professors, alumni network (if any)...
PS: Sorry for sounding rude.

PPS: I had a horrific PI and consider myself out of race.

If I can interupt you ...cheap yes....bt quality ( apart from that we get experience from ICICI )....the quality is not commendable as NIIT university though mentioned as approved by UGC ....its still under pending list and nt yet approved....you can check this in the websites....but cheap yes....its cheap

Every one think lot of times before leaving current good job, because every has some responsibilities so need to handle them even we join this program so financial planning should be there that's why we discussing. That too most of people are appearing for this programs by seeing 15lak CTC figure

Thanks for whises ...and ATB to you too ,any news on when the results will be out .As you said u know someone form the batch ask him about education quality ,and stuff for which we need to pay there

U guys shud've given it a serious thought earlier, before participating in the process. If u wud et selected and not join, u wud actually be wasting a seat which is an aspiration of one 'serious' candidate. I don't mean to offend u but keeping a criteria of 3 yrs, bond of 20 lacs, etc is done bcos ICICI want serious candidates who are willing to work for them and at expected roles.

@[602194:murali603] I think work culture is always common across all ranks in an org. So, I expect the work culture to be stressful. Also, the starting salary would be 15 lacs (not sure abt fixed & variable components though), but once the probation period is over every org gives a confirmation hike. Dunno abt the HR policies of ICICI, but for the 1st yr, they won't include us in the regular appraisal cycle and give only confirmation hike. Next yr, they would include us in appraisal cycle. That's how it happens in IT, hoping the same in ICICI also.

Guys i think u should get selected first before deciding whether to join or not .... no offence as its not easy to get selected in this program the ration will be at least 1:30 ...that means around 93 percentile ...

@[578187:SUNMUDULI] Appraisals like in IT , I think they would be a bit different, I mean we have a bond of 20 lakhs for 3 years, so they are sure we can't leave till 3 years,I'm not sure if we will generous hikes in that case.

@[259455:naveen67] FYI if it is so ..Y are they not selecting 120 candidates exactly for each batch..It is not an Engineering seat where u will get a chance if one drops..The seat is not waste..It is our wish always to join or not..As this is a new concept my intention is that we have to see the good and bad ..That will come to know only with a discussion.

according to salary wise he is correct, be practical. if they offer 15 laks then we pay some huge tax and variable will also there in that
