what is the job prospectus and profile after doing this MBA?
Guys,,,, I think we are doing unnecessary discussions over here.. These discussions should be carry over after final results..
As per my analysis, there were average 600 aspirants,who attended for GD in every center. And total were 6 centers so i guess total aspirants who attended GD is around 3600 and out them the conversion ratio to PI is about 6 out of 10 so 2160 lets say 2200 aspirants attended PI. Now they need only 120. So the final ratio comes around 1:18, so means only 1 out of 18 will be get through.. So guys competition is really tough and they are going to scrutinize people on every aspects, starting from college grads to yours experience profile with your written, gd, pi and OPQ performance.
So lets keep our fingers crossed and wait for results..

Hw can u arrive at the no 2200... few others on PG thought that the no is around 1500 and the ratio 1:15..

Whatever i have written is totally my personal analysis based on inputs of people who have attended the GD PIs in various centers and i have explained everything in detail,, people may have some different thoughts and figures.. So no offence.. :)
@[561421:mba85pag] that's bcoz he has assumed 6 out of 10 selected in PI, but I think that should be avg 4. Btw, they r not filling all 120 seats(as seen in prev batches), so what's the point in calculating the probability? The calculated probability will be more optimistic than the actual turnout.

In most of the centers the avg conversion was 6 out of 10.. In my center there were lot many batches where they shortlisted 7 out of 10..

I guess...ICICI might have shortlisted 120 for all earlier batches..but certain people who think too much and complicate things, as seen before in this thread, might have refrained from joining and thus the head count came down...just my opinion.
And in our location too average GD to PI coversion rate was 3-4

Another one is , does ICICI really need 120(Apr batch) + 120(Oct batch)= 240 band 2 managers every year? So maybe that's y they r selecting only the "creme de la creme" & that's their motto, not filling up all seats!
120 is max limit.
In first batch only 83 were selected and in 3rd batch 92 were selected.
58-59 Joined in first batch and 76 joined in 3rd batch.
Guys, draw whatever inferences you want to draw from this information.
Hi.. Some of you said that their status in application is changed to "Scheduled". Is it the same for everyone.. Mine is still showing applied...
