Hi I am working in manufacturing company getting 10 lacs package, I also selected for the programme, having 7 yr of experience, should i join this programme. Presently I m getting 65K in hand
One thing i want to share with u all .......tha puys who selected for relationship or wholesale banking after their training will have to face huge sales pressure...at least u have to generate revenue of 5 times more than your CTC...for that u have to do business in crores
..Iam nt scaring u guys.just predicting the future.....we knw that there is no free lunch..no one gives this much of packege freely....so be ready puys....iam also selected for this programme.......

Assuming that you have performed average atleast, then after these 7 years of exp, if you switch companies, you would get a hike. but again, if you want to learn management, and think from the learning perspective, I would suggest you go ahead and join. Sit and analyze your goals and what means could get you to achieve it. Get thid cleared with yourself, and then you will have the answer. Hope this helps 😃

Thanks, exactly my aim is to learn the management. and I think engineering background with experience in core industry along with financial education will add value to the profile and market value
A relationship manager will be assigned a group of customers and he shuold take care of thier finacial needs and generate revenue from them..(investment from them).some times u may have to attend their personal things also..that is called relationship manager..if ur unable to generate revenue u will lost the race...similar kind of thing happens with wholesale banking also..in the interveiw they asked me to do lot of sales....guys who have courage to do sales and adopted for work culture of ICICI Bank i.e late night working ...proceed........its just prediction .......but.... true....

But I think in risk management profile, sales skill are not required
risk management cmes under the wholesale banking...only ttechnology team may nt have sales pressure....

nt exactly but similar to that only.....ICICI entering into new fileds..u knw that the major revenue for banks generate from investments only....

Yup! his idea of becoming manager and earning more money is the main reason that everybody working in a corporate believes.
But even in this cmpy after becoming manager, he will have transfers definitely.
Initially, he will be pushed to work in some remote areas or according to the vacancies he will be transferred irrespective of his interested location.
Pressure and stress will be common.
Relocation and transfers are very common in corporate, dude.
Tell him not to lose his present golden job....ATB.
Did not get any offer from ICICI... though current employer wants to send me onsite again.... why should i reject this chance
