I think @sriram82 must be a guy who joined in ICICI bank in some Asst Manager Level and got rid of selling Insurance and has no IDEA apart from Retail Banking.....He doesn't know there exist another arm of Bank named Assets apart from Liabilities....In any bank getting into Asset dept (includes WBG,CBG & Risk) is tough and bank needs specialized people to handle such dept..."WE" whom ICICI calls its FUTURE are recruited to get trained in such dept...Not for Sales...as training for Sales doesn't require 2 years...Only a Week is More than Enough.....

If u r in interested in finance n banking n u r from different industry then u must join this course because believe me even if u get into IIM-A, u ll not get this profile in banking without prior experience in finance.Even if u somehow get the finance,u have to start as fresher not at middle management level.
This is the opportunity for those all who are not gud in clearing tough apti but have other skills to succeed(I think most of the people did not get gud percentile in CAT dats y they r failed.with that we cant say dat they cant comptete with others in GD or Interview or in corporate life).
Think about ICICI,they r putting u at the level where only 4 relevant work ex + top colleges recruits r going.Think about risk from their side,how big they are gambling.
N moreover if u done have money to invest in ur MBA.This is very small issue but like to mention as so many people give money very much importance.
I am from middle class business family who have done so many experiments in business n did not succeed at highest level.When ever I was discussing with my mom,she used to say "go for MBA if u want but we have to put our beloved home as a mortgage to get education loan'.
Forget all other savings means even if I would have got in some other premium colleges I have to start with point 0 without any saving n dat also 2 years tension to my family.
So for me this program is like - bhagwaan se maanga ki aisa koi raasta nahi jisse ye sab hoye bina waha pahuch jaaye jahan jaane ka sapna dekha hai(not saying dat I really deserve to be here as everybody here is better than me) n bhagwaan ne bola-TATHAASTU.
@sriram82 Pls understand that ICICI PO program is so designed that to cater requirement of entry level managers to run the retail show...For Bank Cost of Funds has gone high since deregulation of SB interest rates and interest pattern (Interest to be paid on balance maintained on daily basis calculated for 6 months once) and banks need to increase their Monthly Averge Balance in CASA(req as per regulatory authorities)after all banks need to generate revenue by Cross Selling Third Party Products...Only Trained Professionals with business etiquette can do that..So Bank expect PO's ...budding Managers can Sell Insurance Better...But PO's actually think other way...If u don't love your job (Any Job for that Matter) never can be peaceful in life....
Let me answer your last point...You must be aware this program in so designed to equip middle level managers who should make decisions in crucial condition of ever changing banking environment....If bank recruits from Open Market that person will carry the experience and knowledge gained in competition and soon the same will be replicated in ICICI too...But ICICI doesn't need that and want managers who can think and take decisions on their own rather following someone else....One need to utilize this opportunity to unlearn their experience and start learning n think differently...this 2 years will be opt for gaining such a knowledge, maturity ability to generate fresh ideas....

Are the results for april-2013 batch announced?
I think Mr. Sriram Krishnan has only job i.e. to malign ICICI BLP's Image. Puys notice that he is not providing you with any reliable information. He made his puy id just to make these posts. Plus he has still not disclosed his position in ICICI Bank.
Another major error that most of the puys are making is relying on the link that shows ICICI as the worst employer among banks. Puys, it is a hubpages link. Anyone, including you and me, can write that post. If I want I can make a post that says ICICI is the best employer among banks and then share the link here.
So, dont trust anything mentioned in that link.
Talk to current students if you want to know about this program. Contact them using facebook or linkedin. They can only give the best answers to your questions.

1. I had got that 2 rows.
2. CIBIL Report was also there until last time i checked, Now it is not there.
3. Got Calls for PAN Card details.
I just wanted to confirm whether i have not been selected..

@sumitdbest1 Once the GD-PI process gets over,it takes at least 15 days time to finalize on the results as all the cases are discussed amongst the admissions committee. So, you can expect the results anytime during this week.
