How much time is given to pay the fees after one has converted IIFTK from being WLed? Asking as will have to make some arrangements now if the duration is too short @akshaygupta19

My profile: 10/12/grad/CAT/work ex - 82/71.8/98.20/74.11/36months. I wish to pursue my MBA in marketing. Does having 36 months and low academic score have a drastic effect on my choice of stream and/or placements in any way? Kindly guide me.

Disclaimer: I do not intend to attack any B-school. The following b schools are still better than most of the b schools in India. But I see here many PG people/mediacoms misguiding others in the name of "IIM" Tag and suggest/misguide others to join them in an IIM over colleges like MDI, NITIE, IIFT, IIT B, etc.
Moral of the story: * Your fate will be determined by well read and informed people! Not your neighbours and relatives.*

Read recruiters dilemma section...and I quote some statements to point out industry perception:"Our job gets done by going to the top three IIMs where we pay Rs 15-18 lakh per annum. If I were to go to the new IIMs, I suppose I would have to pay Rs 8-10 lakh per annum. The situation is similar in Mahindra & Mahindra, or M&M, which hires from top 12 B-schools. The quality of students passing out of the new IIMs is nowhere close to that from the top IIMs. We find issues with their ability to communicate, think strategically, and apply concepts in real-life situations. We just keep contact with these new institutes..."

Today I called the admission office, a lady picked up the call, on asking about the waitlist movements, she literally (I am not kidding) said " Koi idea nahi hai" I shocked thought I heard wrong and again asked, she " koi idea nahi hai ki kabtak ayega" !!!
The problem is IIFT administration is no fixed schedule for anything. Every IIM has a fix date and even if they have 0 movement they release list but here they just want holidays..!
Dear folks, A humble request to all the guys and girls who have converted IIFT-D and IIFT-K and waitlisted for IIFT-K, and are 100 percent sure of not joining the institute, to kindly withdraw their admission offer at the earliest, as this will help the waitlisted guys to assess their position.
