i have written in my cv form that i am interested in doing MBA in marketing.....sir now will they ask me about marketing technicalities like brand management, types of marketing and blah blah??
i am a fresher and have no idea of marketing jargons:-(...for the PI, should i concentrate on preparing about marketing or my b.tech subjects.....plz help
they wont ask u marketing technicalities per say, but they'll expect you to knw wat marketing actually is. also along with it they might just question u abt the general popular marketing stuff like USP, brands, ads etc...
since u r a fresher, my suggestion would be to simply have 2 ques prepared:
1 what is marketing?
2 why marketing? esp after engg?
apart from that,pick a couple of ur fav subjects and prepare them well...

Even though i am not a senior i would like to help you on this. FTA is the acronym generally used for FREE TRADE AGREEMENTS. A Free Trade Agreement takes place between several parties who agree to engage in trading practices with minimum or no interventions to trade. By interventions we generally mean government barriers and restrictions.
However, FTA is also sometimes used as an acronym for FREE TRADE AREA. But this usage is rare. A free trade area signifies a trade bloc where the countries have signed a FREE TRADE AGREEMENT. For instance, if the sub continent countries enter into a FREE TRADE AGREEMENT then this Sub continent will be considered as a FREE TRADE AREA.
