Yes, I believe – “Experience is the teacher of all things.”
It was yesterday, 4 years ago: I started my working life at #IILM. Here I began my 7th year of association with IILM. In total I have completed 6 years at IILM (4 years of work experience at IILM Graduate School of Management, Greater Noida & 2 years of studying at IILM, Gurgaon.
When I joined IILM as an employee, I only had LinkedIn profile & it’s the only social networking site which has helped me to land up a job at IILM. Today, I have profiles on almost all the social networking sites & many more to look forward for in near future.
At IILM, in one or the other way I am associated with all the departments & this makes me feel good. I never thought I have this much of capability to work for & I look forward for new opportunities which are waiting for me in near future.
Last, but not the least I want to thank IILM #Facultymembers,#IILMmanagement, #students, my family, my dear friends & #everyone for their #support and for making me what I am!

As we all know, Donald Trump became the 45th President of United States of America and now he is the most powefull man in the world. It will have a both negative and positive affects in our country India. Starting from the postive affects, in his last leg of his campaign Trump mentioned about our Prime Minister Narendra Modi as a 'Great Man' and about his interest in Hindu Culture. Trump also has economic interest in India, as he wants to build a luxurious business tower-Trump Tower- in Mumbai which will lead to the EB-5 visa programme. This visa programme is likely to further gain traction in India if Trump were to follow through with his agenda of cutting federal spending while at the same time easing regulation for businesses. Trump also made a strong pitch against ISIS and immigration from countries that export terror. This is bound to hurt Pakistan.On a negative side, as Trump always had a soft corner for Russia, he could revisit the US policies towards China which would have serious security ramifications for India. He has also vowed to bring back jobs to Americans and this will impact India in a huge manner. As Indians are the top recipients of the H-1B visas, and this might get a blow. #myiilm
The placement workshop which are held every week in the college is helping us to inprove our apptitude skills, verbal skills, logical reasoning and data analysis skills for our future placement. IILM GSM is giving their best efforts to make the students ready for their future placement. Which is a great amount of deal for the students of IILM GSM. IILM now privides its students with an opportunity fir summer inturnship in Ministry Of External Affairs (MEA). This inturnship provides th aspirant scholars to familiarize themselves with the process of formulation of Foreing Policy and its implemetation by the Government in India. The inturns shall report to and work under concerned Head Of Division (HOD) or Head Of Post (HOP). They may be required to conduct research, analyze evolving developments, write reports, or carry out any other task entrusted to them by the HOD/HOP. The Ministry shall have the dicretion to engage inturns on-site or off-site. Thus the inturn may be required to work within Ministry's presmises or outside the premises. The inturnship programme include attachment with one the Divisions in the Ministry. In addition, the intrunship programme at MEA shall include the following
1) A briefing session with the Administration Division on the structure and fucntioning of the Ministry
2) Visit Foreign Service Institute
3) Session with External Publicity and Public Diplomacy Division
4) Session with Investment & Technology Promotion and Energy Security Division.
5) Session with Cosulor, Visa and Passport Division
6) Session with Central Passport Organisation
7) Session tih Protocol Division
8) Visit to ICCR
9) Visit to MEA library, etc.
All applications shall be scrutinized int he Ministry by a Selection Committee adn the initmation shall be sent to the selected candidates. Personal may also be conducted by the Selection Committee.

As virtual teams are increasing globally, the face to face contact has shifted to virtual communication. Although virtual teams offer numerous benefits to organizations (i.e., reduced travel costs, increased worker flexibility), communication in virtual teams is more difficult than in traditional teams. Compared to face-to-face teams, virtual teams demonstrate decreased social interaction, communication, and emotional expression. They face obstacles toward effective communication due to the reduced or the complete lack of face-to-face cues, which are inherent in traditional team interactions. Besides these, it is also pertinent to uncover the methods adopted by team leaders in virtual organizations to resolve challenges of conflict and relationship building among team members. In this light it would be interesting to study the various socio emotional strategies adopted by Virtual Teams for effective performance.

IILM is very much concerned about their summer internship, really happy to see that companies are coming with very good profile. companies like future group, hettich,E&Y, Delloite and tata tele services are few of them.
