@sakkk u cant change your graduation marks ,that is not possible.
@abhi.iimb Could you put a lil more light on the Mentors and the process therin... Never knew about it... Is it after we submit our SOPs or much sooner?
I understand you have ur xams till 20th... Not worried about it?

@liveurlifefully said:Hi Seniors... does the SOP need to be handwritten and scanned? Or we can type it and upload?
You will have to upload a typed in soft copy of your SOP to the online application portal.

another ques..
5. Can somebody tell me what exactly is sent to the people we put as referees? And how should they be related to us (Academic prof, boss and teachers are ok. will a professor in-charge of a institute organisation work?)
@sivaniim said:@nandhawillcrack 2. SoP word limit is 600 as mentioned in the sample doc.3. As far as I got from last years' thread, as soon as you submitthe email ID, a mail will be sentto them and you can see the status in your form. You can submitthe completed form only when all 3 references have filled in their forms
Yes, that's correct.
@ramnik89 Well my final year marks had not come out while I was filling CAT application so it was the aggregate of first two years.

Guys, last year I was allocated a mentor on Feb 23rd. The IIMB shortlist was out on Jan 11th and my Interview was on March 22nd. Make your own inferences as we as of now have no idea of what/when the Admissions Office will do about this this year. Start your own preparation as I have indicated multiple times in this thread.

Some of my batch-mates had their interviews starting from the 3rd week of Feb itself. So I guess they were allocated mentors much before than me.
@abhi.iimb Thanks... So wouldn't assume any dates. All I can do now is prepare... 😃 Thanks a ton for adding clarity...
Guys, don't be distracted so much with the factors (mentors etc) that are not under your control and instead concentrate on the job at hand (form fill-up and preparation) which you can do on your own. Only then you will be able to crack the next stage. Frankly speaking, I never bothered about mentor allocation until it happened. The institute cares for you and will allocate mentors in a way that won't put anyone at a disadvantage as compared to the other candidates. Good luck 😃

I am pursuing Engineering. Can you please explain to me why I did not get a call with the above credentials? I saw somebody has posted that they got a call at 95 and somebody at 97 with worse 10th, 12th and grad scores than mine...!
work ex matters significantly for B ... that's what I think ..
@abhi.iimb In the Online Application, for the Final Score of the each semester, shall we enter CGPA or SGPA ?
seniors, in iimb application am seeing the passport number mandatory.... is it mandatory to have passport??? i dont have... what should i do now??? please help
@BalearicInsane It's the quality of the work you do (as a fresher or someone with work-ex) that matters. Also your college profile (IIT/NIT/top colleges), all academic scores 10th, 12th(normalized across the boards to get percentiles) or grad score (relative grade) is considered.
