@abhi.iimb : I have a small doubt regarding the references while filling the application form .
In instructions ,it is said that "If your referees are not able to access 'Online reference' page, please request them to ask the System / Network administrator of their Organization to permit access."
Is it mandatory to give organization Email id of the refernce person ..? or is it fine to provide gmail id of that person ?

Gokul, Official email-id is always preferred as that gives more credibility. Otherwise, personal id's can also be used.

One by one will do. I guess you haven't saved the details...please play around with that and you will know what needs to be done.

@abhi.iimb ..I had 6 subjects in 10th ( one extra language paper)...neglecting that my percentage is higher..but that subject is there on my 10th score card..should I use only the 5 main papers to calculate 10th percentage..or do I have to calculate it using all 6 subjects...
@abhi.iimb sir, while filling the online form I entered the XII marks as 92.7. But it is actually 92.83. whether it will cause any failure in my cadidature.??

@abhi.iimb Will a referral each from employer, college HOD/prof and school principal better than one from employer and 2 from college profs ?
sorry, but I might sound stupid with the following qs:
a) The completed app needs to be submitted on or before 23rd Jan. Does that mean the Recos too need to be completed by then?
b) In the online app form, I do not see any subsection for Extra Acads. Am I missing it out or is it actually absent in the form?

@facemash You never know, they can even call and verify. So if you are thinking of coming to IIM Bangalore, start practicing the ethics from now onwards. You will get lots of people to write reference. Ask from your college professors otherwise from your seniors who are at some good position. They all will be happy to write it :)
Sir, Whether political references or references from tehsildars will be accepted? or it should be strictly from his/her employees/ college officials.? Just for the clarification purpose. I have received good accolades from the former of the two.
@vinu1990 Both will be fine, but if I would have been in your place, then would have gone for 2nd option, but both are equally good.
