Let me clarify queries regarding references.
I gave the references of my organization Vice President and Senior VP and my friend gives from school teacher and college prof and we both have made it.
What is written is important, who wrote is not very important.
And one very imp thing, your reference will come in picture once you have done good in WAT/PI round.

Yes if get final admission offer then you can drop email with new mailing address , your admission packet will be send on new address.
It had happened with me my initial address was Hyderabad but i received my admission packet in MP.
Don't worry about all such thing do well in WAT/PI.

I was just filling the IIMB online form which asks me to give 3 referees and send them an email for reference.
My doubt is if the deadline for the reference form to be filled is also 23rd January (which seems to be too short a notice considering the results only came out yday i.e 11th Jan)

@PJR got the answers. Its clearly mentioned in the instructions attached. References need to filled well before 23rd jan and only then we can submit the application

got a question : In the Reference tab of the form there is one question -"In Which Capacity does he/she know you?"what should be written here?Should I just depict the relation type, i.e. whether Manager-employee, Teacher-Student, here? Or should I write more than that.

@viruiitm Hi!! One of my referee has left my current organization, so he no longer has access to the company e-mail ID. In such a scenario would it be fine if he sends his recommendations using his personal ID?

@catconquerer well if you notice all the IIMs give significant importance to prior scores and some to Work-ex as well. So it is entirely possible that even 100%-ers might not get a call from some of the IIMs when it comes to it!
@EL_Prophet Your problem is indeed intricate. As far as IIMB is concerned if you have done as the admissions office has told you to you should wait patiently till the morning of Tuesday before giving them a call again. Although I cannot give you any phone number I can assure you that the admissions ofc at IIMB is extremely helpful.
As for the other IIMs, just start dropping down a mail to everyone, especially to the ones whose GD/PI shortlists will still take a while to arive
