The shortlisting done by IIMB this year has been really bizarre..guys with almost equal academic performances have had varying results..enggs with 99.9+ are getting rejected but CA guys with 98.8 are getting accepted.I think bangalore is trying to bring diversity into it's batch
@s1r2 yes. God knows how I have passed the day today. I was so sure of B's call. I thought my 70 in grad was enough considering its a BA course (DU). And in Xth I had 95 and XIIth 91.6 Its just so sad. Even if I give it again next year, doesn't matter.

1. Three referees email id is asked for what reasons? Are the reference letters not to be produced during interview and it has to be produced only by mail?. Should the referees type and send their reference details by mail?

@abhi.iimb - By when do we get the mentors assigned? What exactly is the process next? GD/PI/WAT? What is asked on the D-day. Sorry for being so dumb. Had no hopes on IIM's this year and had given up. Applied through GMAT to US schools.

Can anyone help me with this. I am a Chartered Accountant and currently I am working for Ernst & Young Pvt Ltd. However, I had actually joined S.R. Batliboi (CA firm of EY) and later on I was transferred to Ernst & Young due to internal policies. Now should i show this as a Job/Organisation change?
I didn't even know you had to write an SOP! Anyone has the link to the guidelines for filling the application form? The link they sent in the email is wrong.
@nandhawillcrack There is no Admissions Team here. We do it voluntarily by taking time off our endless submissions, quizzes and projects, apart from classes. Same thing happened last year when some of our seniors took the initiative to help us out. And our expectation is that some of you will carry forward this tradition next year :)

Evaluators will type in their comments about you in a separate online form available with them. You will need to specify their email id and a link and login credentials will be emailed to them for that purpose. That is how the process was last year.
