the B panel pretty clearly told me that the results will be out by the 11th. Thats what has been discussed at various other Ivs..so hang on

The interviews for B go on till 7th April..Is it practically possible for the results to be out by 11th..
I personally want the results asap..

If FMS and NITIE can come up with the results within a day...then i guess it would b very well possible 4 iims to come up with result in 4 days.

I wouldn't bet on that for the simple reason that IIMs are, all said and done, Government run. Plus, I've always had a *feeling* that they co-ordinate admission lists between themselves to get a picture of how many would many would ditch calls due to inter-IIM call clashes. Caveat: Just my wild gut feel.

So 4 days sounds like, well, an ideal world. Nonetheless, ATB!

now that the results r near but stilli want to ask
how is humor taken by panelist during int/w
during my int/w after some such unintentional humorous answers
one panelist( mr.ramana) started discussing on difference b/w formal and informal occasions and gradually shifted to humor used in these situation
....
is it becoz they consider such light answers too informal for int/w or vr they thinking that i am taking int/w too lightly or just to unsettle me( my brief int/w exp at post#105)

can any senior tell me how these people consider humor( u must b knowing there nature)

the case was related to the accounting department in a company with a manager having to deal with 4 people working under him. 3 of them are good at their work and need minimal supervision but the 4th one, a lady, has recently been neglecting her work. she has not been coming to office regularly and not been completing her assigned work because of personal problems. we were supposed to discuss solutions to the manager's dilemma. the gd went pretty ok and we were asked to write a summary at the end.

pi:
it started with my work and the technology i worked with. then it was a bit of general awareness - political parties in the uk and us and their attitudes towards india, recent sale of f-16s to pakistan, etc. then one guy suddenly started asking me questions on routing algorithms, graph theory, minimal spanning tree, travelling salesman's problem, connectedness, etc. i couldnt answer most of these because of 2 reasons - 1)i had passed out in 2002 and my work was totally unrelated to this 2) i am an electronics engineer and hadn't studied these topics in much depth even though i had a general idea. i had no clue why i was asked all this. after saying "i dont know" a reasonable number of times, the interveiw theme shifted to the latest in telecom. finally they asked me what other calls i had and wished me luck with the others. i seriously do not know what to make of this. just hoping for the best.

Whatever info i gathered from the admin ppl here suggests that they will release the results on 11th. As most of PGP1 have left the campus and rest are busy packing, i guess its tough to contact them again. All the Best :)

Doomsday Arrives!!! I hope they wont make it later than today!!!

Its already nine and no updates on the website as yet.Is the info that results would come today verified.Tried their office but no one was picking up.
