An ancient Chinese proverb claims – “Women Hold up Half the Sky.” It doesn’t suggest women are competing with men to hold up the sky but evokes an image of women fully bringing their unique gifts to the task, bringing their ways of holding up the sky.

Hear out Payal Singh from the MBA(Analytics) Batch of 2020-22 at Indian Institute of Management Kashipur, who has shared her perspective on how “women’s leadership” has evolved through the years not only to assume positions of power but to exert influence on the decisions that will determine humanity’s social and economic fate in these uncertain times.

She has also reflected on the need to look for leaders with human-centred skills in the new normal and how most organisations can find them in their own untapped pools of women employees and managers.

The diversity in surroundings coupled with the proximity to the industrial belt provides a perfect atmosphere for academic exposure and recreation both for the students. Hear out his internship experience! "During the initial days of my summer Internship at Morgan Stanley, what I immediately discovered and liked about the company was its warm and welcoming culture. Having my picture on the company Headquarters at Times Square, New York as a token of the firm's welcome gesture, was the highlight of my internship and it gave me the memory for a lifetime. In my tenure so far, the experience of working on several exciting projects and collaborating with exceptionally supportive teams has inspired me each day to not settle for anything less than extraordinary. My biggest takeaway has been the joy of working at a workplace that stunningly stands true to all its values, which gets reflected through all its people."

Will the next list be out? And if yes, then by when can we expect?

The management has been considerate and flexible with timelines keeping in mind the current pandemic scenario. The onboarding process was meticulously designed so as to allow the interns to transition efficiently and smoothly into their roles. This internship has provided me with an opportunity to put my classroom learning to practical use and helped me develop a greater understanding of the product, the supply chain, and the business operations of The Outlook Group. It has been a delightful journey of constant learning and implementation!

There will be any more lists, if then today or tomorrow? Please clear @nancyraj @SakshiPoddar @iimkashipur

We have Ankur Tulsyan from MBA Batch of 2020-22 who talks about how 𝐟𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐚𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐬𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐥𝐚𝐫𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩 𝐨𝐩𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 provided by the institute helped him make one of the most important decisions that could carve his career path. He is glad to have chosen IIM Kashipur, the institute which realized his potential as a student and helped him in need.

We have Manali Marathe from MBA Analytics batch of 2020-22 talking about how 𝐝𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐲 was one of the most important factors she considered while opting for a college. She chose IIM Kashipur over various other colleges she converted for its diversity in terms of gender, academics, and culture. She is inspired by the number of females choosing an MBA as a career option these days and encourages them further.

𝐇𝐞𝐚𝐫 𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐃𝐢𝐤𝐬𝐡𝐚 𝐉𝐚𝐢𝐬𝐰𝐚𝐥 ( 𝐌𝐁𝐀 𝐁𝐚𝐭𝐜𝐡 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟎-𝟐𝟐), 𝐬𝐮𝐦𝐦𝐞𝐫 𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐧 𝐚𝐭 𝐀𝐢𝐫𝐭𝐞𝐥 𝐁𝐮𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬 For my summer internship, I got an opportunity to work with Airtel Business, the B2B arm of Bharti Airtel. It provides ICT services through its digital platform to different segments of clients under their provision of services. Having always been inclined towards marketing, working as a digital marketing intern would prolifically enhance my profile. The internship, although remote, has translated into a great learning experience, both, in regards to this particular domain and, about the telecom industry as a whole. My mentor has been nothing but supportive and easily approachable for any help and queries, which is really important during such perilous times.

Any movement in NC-OBC?

any ideas about the movement?

𝐇𝐞𝐚𝐫 𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐀𝐧𝐤𝐮𝐫 𝐓𝐮𝐥𝐬𝐲𝐚𝐧 ( 𝐌𝐁𝐀 𝐁𝐚𝐭𝐜𝐡 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟎-𝟐𝟐), 𝐬𝐮𝐦𝐦𝐞𝐫 𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐧 𝐚𝐭 𝐈𝐂𝐈𝐂𝐈 𝐁𝐚𝐧𝐤 Getting an opportunity to work for ICICI Bank was a dream come true for me. I got to interact with an ICICI employee with experience of more than 5-10 years which gave me a chance to learn so much from them. As a part of my project, I was assigned a buddy and a guide who helped me not only in the completion of my project but also in my overall development. Summarizing my experience, I would say that through this internship, I have realized my shortcomings and have started working on them before starting my professional journey.

Hear out Sakshi Poddar from MBA (Analytics) batch of 2020-22 who has beautifully outlined that there is only one sacrosanct rule at the IIMs -and that is punctuality. Her go-to mantra to succeed in such a challenging academic environment was to make sure that she maintained a balanced lifestyle.
