The composition of the batch varies each year, you can check the current students profiles available in the website.
http://www.imi.edu/index.php/placements/studentsearch
Batch 2011-13 has 70% work ex people.
If IMI was better only for freshers then i dont think these many people having work ex (including me) would have joined IMI.Please look into the profiles as it would help you better understand it.

If there is any chance for me if i clear the cutoff?????
Looking at Last year's criteria you may just miss out , but if you see 2010-2012 cut offs without acad base , you can convert the call

Considering your 12th percentage, i guess it would hard for you to clear the cut off comparing it to last year cut offs.
The cut offs vary every year and we are not sure what the cut offs would be for this year.
