On 04 December 2021, United Institute of Management, Greater Noida conducted an Industrial Visit at "Mother Dairy Fruit and Vegetable Pvt Ltd, Patparganj” themed “Understanding the practical knowledge of Dairy Products Manufacturing Process”. Students along with faculty members got a thorough and detailed exposure of the manufacturing process of Dairy Products like milk, ice cream, curd, buttermilk etc.
Under the guidance of company’s Head, TIS, Mr. R.K. Pillai, the students had got a very paramount and practical knowledge on how the manufacturing process and supply chain management takes place.
We were attended by Mr. R.K. Pillai, Head, TIS Mother Dairy Fruit & Vegetable Private Limited. There we were shown the process of purification, further filtrations, standardization, homogenization and pasteurization. Thereafter, the testing phase came whereby as per standards they check the quality and purity of the milk.
Relevant questions of all the students were answered through this talk session. After the plant visit, all of us were given flavored milk and ice cream. During this Session, Shri R.K. Pillai,Head, TIS, Mother Dairy Plant and United Institute of Management, Greater Noida Prof. Monika Sharma, Prof. Deepak was present.
