hexware is a much better option as compared to infy in terms of payscale, job profile (peoplesoft etc) , onsite opportunities ( us, sweden ...) . whole batches of ppl have been sent to Sweden just after two months of training! i think no company can match that!! i think you should go with hexaware.

I have an offer from Hexaware and I'm supposed to join the day after. I wrote the Infy test on the 19th of June and had my interview the very next day. it went superbly and I'm quite confident of making it but the results are not out yet and I have to sign a bond for 2 years if I'm joining Hexaware. Please give me some quick advice!!!! :)
ME working in Hexaware..... i find that we cannot compare infosys with other companies in terms of results and achievements, but yes as a employee its better to be in a place where u can get easy recognisation... i mean its easy to shine in smaller crowd then to shine in a crowd of 30 to 35k people around you... and growth wise hexaware is the fastest growing company... increasing the number and volume of clients day by day.... and also getting more n more business from present clients.... the work culture here is tooo good...
hey enough of praises .... but as i said earlier infosys the name is enough... so its upto you what decision u take....

I had recently attended Infy Off.campus test on the 19th of June in Chennai. By God's Grace, got short listed for the interview(which was held the next day at the Sholinganallur campus in chennai)... Interview went on fairly well...very general questions asked. One simple puzzle asked which i solved. At the end, the interviewer tld me that i will have to wait for close to 4 weeks after which the results would be intimated by email.
As I didnt have any campus placements, I do want to get into Infy. If any of u could let me know how long would it take before which the results would be out (any other candidates who had attended the off campuses earlier, plz help). I have also heard that in the off.campus process, the candidates are ranked and based on their requirements they will short list a top some % of the people....Dont know how far is this true...
Any info regarding this would be highly appreciated....

Are there any chances that the date may be postponed. What abt Hyderabad. Has someone got any info about the campus there or type of accomodation available. I am a Gujarati, would i face any problems there. Please enlighten me on this issue ASAP.

Hi everyone.. I'm a 2003 batch passout EC engineer and I have been working as a system administrator for about 18 months in a BPO firm.. i'm more interested in a software development career and i'm searching for that break. i'm willing to start all over as a fresher again but i'm not able to attend any fresher tests because i'm 2003 passout.. i have completed a course in AS400 technologies but since i don't have much experience(only 4 months training exp) i'm not being considered anywhere.. my % for grad was 67 and for X and XII above 80%.. i believe my aptitude skills are good as i've secured a rank among top 35 in the National IT aptitude test conducted by NIIT..
so if anybody can help me land a job in any reputed firm or otherwise preferably in AS400 please let me know... please let me know any opportunities for 2003 batch passouts

Dress Code
As a member of the Infosys family, it is essential you dress in a manner befitting a professional. You should be neatly turned out in well-ironed apparel and in formal footwear at all times.
On Mondays, Tuesdays (and other days specified by circulars), you are expected to be in formal dress. Full-sleeved shirts, formal trousers, leather shoes (brown, black or tan) and a tie would constitute formal wear for gentlemen. During the summer months (the duration is indicated in a circular), ties are not compulsory. On other days, half or full sleeved shirts, formal trousers and shoes should be worn.
Ladies must be appropriately dressed in Sarees, Salwar kameezes or Western business attire through the week.
On Fridays, casual wear and sports shoes may be opted for. However, shorts, sundresses, slippers are not considered appropriate.
On occasions when you have to meet Consulate Officials for a visa or attend business meetings, it is important that you dress in formal attire. A business suit would be appropriate at such times. i hope it explains all u want to know

is ur joining location hybd??? if it is... chances are(99% i'll say),that ur stream will be ES(enterprise solutions)...and consider urself lucky for that.... coz this is the best u can get.... and concerning hybd.. u'll be put up in some hotel,most probably ASRANI INTERNATIONAL(1000 per day for a room: dont worry u dont have to shell out ..infy will pay..) transportation by infy.....enjoy ur stay... hybd DC is good...gr8 facilities...swimmimg pool.. basketball courts tennis courts TT tables.. pool,snooker superb GYM and superb trainer... food can be a problem..but u cant find mothers flavour anywhere else,can u???? just go out there..enjoy the hospitality
well.. i am rohit agrawal from indore and i am a computer engineer ; graduated in may 2005. i had given the infosys off campus written test from delhi on the 19th june and got selected for the interview on 21st june...
now.. the problem is that.. the results of the chennai , mumbai , b'lore , pune , hyd centers r out and some of the ppl have also got joing dates of 25th july...
but i havent rcvd ne mails giving info abt the result status of the delhi center...
so pls pls pls.. if nebody who had given the interview from delhi center has rcvd the confirmation mail.. do tell me.. pls pls pls..
also.. i wud like to ask to the forum that.. what r the basis of rejecting a candidate in infosys.. once he/she has appeared for the interview... i mean.. who do they reject in interviews???
Hi morpheus4u, As u said they would give us accomodation but we have been told by email that they will provide accomodation only for the initial seven days after which we many have to find an accomodation for ourselves. Also since i am no able to get any info on Hyderabad campus and other things about training then please can u give me more info on Infosys Hyderabad and a few pics of the same if possible.

i've heard that the results of some centers have already been declared However like Rohit i also haven't received ne mail abt the result status of the Calcutta center...

Hi, I am, Kunal, had recently attended the Infosys Off. campus test on the 19th of June at Chennai. I have now got an offer letter by email from Infosys.I have been asked to join in Mysore on the 25th of july. . I have got my final semester results which I have cleared my papers. But I had an arrear in the 7th semester, which I wrote it in the 8th sem and which I am quite sure, God willing, I should clear it .But the results of the earlier semesters are pending yet. And according to the university, the results would be out in another ten days from now. I had read in the offer letter, that ur supposed 2 bring all ur certificates to Infy. My 7th semester certificate shows that I have an arrear, so how will I be able 2 explain to them that I have cleared all my papers (Should get the results of that paper by that time).. by the way I have my course completion certificate from the college which shows that I have completed the course Do they check all your papers when u enter Infy or do they check them after some time( as the offer letter says u should not have any exams pending, but also says that ur supposed to show the papers within 3 months of joining Infy) , this confused me a lot. Wht should I do under the circumstances. And btw what is the dress code to be followed during training in particular and in Infy in general. And also after the training, do they place u in ur choice of center or can they place u anywhere?? Are we expected to bring any books during the training program? And what about the food, is it charged separately? Plz guys(esp. those working in Infy ) help Thanks Kunal

depends on how much appetite for risk you have. is bird in hand worth more than 2 in the bush? personally i know what i would have done, but this is not abt me, its abt u - so you should decide on your own.
