Hi people,

This is shivendu .......frends call me Shiv and firangis call me Shivaa...whatevr guess name doesn't matter much.

Well I was living my life happily and peacefull until I join TCS and to be specific Virgin Atlantic project .......... since then it has been a real misery for me to even spend a minute in this place :banghead:........ my ambition is not Mba or some big B school........... i just wanna get the hell out of this shit hole.......

Why I wanna pursue because I hate my job and their is nothing more I can hate my only escape is some good B college where I can again have some good times fellas ..............

Well pray for me and pray for urself as I am back in the game

hi!!!! to all friends...... i am hitesh pursuing PG DIPLOMA in Financial markets and portfolio management from INSTITUTE OF MANAGEMENT SCINCES, LUCKNOW UNIVERSITY. i have done my grad in BBA from same campus. my hobbies r- reading buks, watching movies, and making friends . i gave cat last year but didn't score well to get a gud b-school.
dis year m giving it yet another try... hoping fr da best.. i think pagal guy is a great site for all mba aspirants and provides a gud platform fr discussions on various topics.
i will b giving cat dis year on 29th nov. lets join hands to help each oder and come out sucessfully wid flying colors.. so ALL DA BEST TO ALL!!

For PO will there be any hike in pay, as the base salary is 10k for a long?
Will ther be sixth pay commission recommendations?

I am a B.E. (Mech) from Government College of Engineering, Goa :biggrin:.
I am working for Satyam Computer Sevices Ltd, well Mahindra Satyam now, (and pls dont raise an eyebrow..... ya, I am still working there... not fired ... well at least as of now :lookround:) in Bangalore. I am operating from client location and as such I work in Textron India. Been working here for almost two years now... first as a software trainee and now as a Technical Writer for Aerospace technical Publications.

Planning to do an MBA this yr or next. It depends. Ill be taking all the exams. Just hoping that I crack all those.:banghead:

Learning hard, (ok.... may be not very hard) to gain some career skills. Hoping to get that MBA degree someday so as to get the business side of mine on the roll.

hi ,
P.O .... i guess you are talking about probationery officers in banks, although there base salasry is 10k but still if you take the whole average it comes around be 30k and aprt from teh money which you get , you get a lot of facilities, you can get a loan at such a low interest that you might have neva thought of,, and aprt a car from the bank, (depends on the bank you work for ) and then long repayment periods and slowly and gradually your salary increases , very peacefull job and respectful even, all the increements which were supposed to happen have already been implemented in every goverment feilds except a few so now the base pay for a P.O is 16 k .

I work in mysore in IT and m a BE in electronix and telecomm from mumbai..
And I plan to Crack the CAT and Complete my MBA from one of the IIMs.

I just started studying so this year i am not hoping for much. But i plan to prepare my self thoroughly for next year.
I plan to take up classes in Bangalore.. and stay in mysore .. so if u are from any one of these places and have the same intensions as mine.... consider me a friend. and yaa... m looking for intelligent ,and dedicated cat aspirants to network... so if u are one of them... consider me a collegue.
