Hi this is sourabh.
currently i am working with infosys.
i want to do MBA next year ie 2010-2012(july batch).
i want advice on good b school with good placement and low fees structure.
Going to write CAT, Snap, Xat, IBSAT, MAT, FMS and MH-cet.
So please help me choose a good school. i am not great student just an avarage student but trying to get score in above exam.
so suggetion is always invited.

I', really confused in which distance programme should i adopt?? i will be a qualified chartered accountant by april by which time i will complete my course.i wish to do cisa (system audit ) course which would take 8 mths to complete.I am thinking of doing mba too(not in a position to leave my town)....I went through some of distance programmes (1yr one's ) there is pgdbm( imt-gaziabad,not sure if it is considered as equivalent to mba ) ,mba(iict - doesnt have ugc recognition),pgdm( iimt -pune(not recognised by ugc) ,symbiosis mba (takes 2yrs ) I wish to enter job market by mar-apr 2011 with a c.a n mba.. Iam totally confused ..been confused for a week or so!!!Please any1 help me find a solution

Hello u can only tell me that should I prepare CAT or Not..I am giving u some points of mine..plz tell me on the basis of these..

Year 2000- High School - 56% - U.P. Bord.
Year 2002- Inter - 73% - U.P.Bord.
Year 2005- B.Com. - 64%.
Year 2005- IATA (International Air Transport Association Exam).
Year 2005- Joined R.D.M.(A Joint Venture Between Bird Group and Lufthansa Airlines)
Year 2007- Left R.D.M. and come back to home to Prepare Commercial Pilot License Exam
Year 2009- Rejected in Medical Fitness for CPL due to Color Blindness Test..

I have no extra activities and never participated in social programs etc..
Now Plz tell me should I prepare for CAT to get admission in good colleges and what...I am so confused and nobody is here to tell me what to do and for what I am eligible

well it;s a long shot ..u don;t have a profile tht u can boast off.. it is a bit on the lower side ..B-schools in india do consider ur school grades( although it's insane) but one can not help it..!..whtever u've done in the past u cannot change it..the only thing u can do is to improve from here on ..getting into IIM's from here on would not be easy but it;s not impossible...u need a score of 99.5+ with sectional cut off's..since u have got work ex n stuff u have the opportunity to compensate for ur low grades..all u need to do is to focus first on getting a 99.5 + if u can do tht..tht in itself is a proof tht u have the acumen to compete with guys who score 90+ throughout thr lives...start frm thr on ...thn see how things go ..if u keep feeling low coz u have not done well in the past it would only ruin your chances..!

erm, i joined this website cuz this seemed like the most insane choice :splat:
i can hardly cal myself an ambitious person in terms of scoring in CAT an' the other "AT"s . i just plan to score decently so that i can get into SIMC pune.. yep.. no mba at all

so.. just lookin around for nice tips and tricks ... :clap:

I'm Ajay kulkarni,doing my MBA in Human Resource from one of the B-schools called as NIMS(National Institute of Management Studies).My long term goal would be to take up my career as Industrial Relations officer.
