CAT is a failure now.im a career consultant and i had warned that it would be a failure because we at gujarat had same exam GCET in july.it was INTRANET base and it failed drastically.the magnitude of failure of conducting the so called FIRST ONLINE EXAM OF INDIA FOR MBA ENTRANCE was such that some students challenged in the GUJARAT HIGHCOURT.(CASE IS STILL PENDING)here at cat just think about the horrifying delay for one student and the other is taking exam perfectly.cat is a great mind game where mental state is of prime importance.how can u call it a competition where one student is rescheduled for no fault oif his own..JAGO MERE BACHE JAGO....CHALLENGE CAT IN SUPREME COURT...BRING THESE BABUS OF IIMS AND PROMETRIC TO JUSTICE...i smell great amount of LETI DETI between these two groups as CRORS OF RUPEES AMT is involved in cat...who will now BELL THESE CAT THRU COURT? HURRY UP YOU YOUNG PEOPLE....IIM has lost its credit and credibility...come forward move cat to court and try to restore the same old pattern.(WHAT WAS WRONG WITH IT?WHERE EONE GOT THE EQUAL OPPURTUNITY) to save the IMAGE OF IIM...

this is jitesh agarwal from hyderabad....m in b.tech final year...and plan to do MBA.Started preparing for CAT just four months back...and m all gungho about getiin into any of the top end b-schools by 2010.


I love reading harry potter series...again again (have read them each 6-7 times...lolzzz)...also love john grisham. ...m a big movie buff...u wont beliv it but i actually spend 5-6 hours evryday watching movies (crazy bout God Father)

Hello All,

I am Vivek. I have 5 years of work experience in IT. I am aiming for GMAT and to start applying for MBA in ISB and other Bschools from middle of 2010(by June or so) so that I am targetting for 2011 batch. Now, I am yet to start my preparations for GMAT. To begin with, please help me on these questions:

1.) What is/are the MUST and most recommended GMAT study materials?. Please let me know. If anyone has the same, please PM me.
2.) What are the best B-schools that will be suitable for 1-year MBA that has tremendous placement records.

well am into Engg 2nd yr
went around goofing around in 11 so ended up in a 'not so fancy' college...
starting out early in my preps this time for MBA...
in PG simply because am in need of suggestions..
with the CAT going onl9 its made me more tentative...

Current Occupation: Programmer in OFSS
Why on PG?: heard a loooooot abt PG so here I m
Specifically looking for what on PG? hmmm umm its complicated nothing specific but i want to know evrything for getting into IIM for sure
Aim for next one year? to balance job and study to finally kick off job and fly high
