Hi guys.

Education and Work Ex Background : B Tech (Electronics and Telecom) , 1 yr exp in Telecom MNC :D
Current Occupation :Telecom engineer

Why on PG? : make friends and discuss everything about MBA

Aim for next one year? CAT/GMAT/XAT/MAT/MHCET/FMS/SNAP/NMAT...would not leave any exam and make sure I enrol myself in top b school in India /Abroad.....:nono:

well i'm intersted in knowing which symbiosis institute i shud apply , when m havin a score of 65-67 marks in snap 2009........is siom advisable?????? does SCMHRD give a call for the above said score if the profile looks as below:

My Profile:
10th std - 91%
12th std - 88%
B.E - 81%
Work exp - 30 months in project management of a leading steel manufacturer.

Hey, this is priyanka. In the final year B-Tech CSE. I wanna be a HR. As away as possible from the IT sectors.

What is the scope for Hospitality management?? And btw, does amity take Feb MAT scores??
I did give CAT but the forms are supposed to be filled and sent by jan 15th itself! What should I do??

see.........budy......ur academic and work ex profile sems to be very good..........u may hv a chance of siom b'coz u hv a experience in d relavent field.........but for the scmhrd i thnk dat u vl hv 2 wait for the 2nd or 3rd round.......b'coz der cut off is 84+........
by d way congrats.............my score is 55.........

Hi! Friends,

I am Pavaman Kamalapurkar after doing my engineering in VTU now working for a MNC in Bangalore. I am an electronics engineer with 68%.

What went wrong: Being knows as a tech and being good in programing as an accident I landed in a job which is a product support. They are paying me well, I am one of the highest paid in the batch but problem is if I want change the company I can not. Since this experience is counted a support and has less value in our industry.

Plans to correct: A course like programmer may not help since that again is not an work experience so ruled out. Can not go for an MS since no budget. So going for a MBA the best way to change the career.

So now I am planning to do a one year MBA in india. Hope to see a good guidance from people who are already in the elite group of MBA graduates.

Hi All,

I have just taken up GMAT coaching. I too would would want to pursue my MBA. But seeing all the discussion, paying the loan back seems to be a daunting task. I want to know if all the efforts is really worth it?? My future looks hazy just with the thought that 25 yrs payback ... 10 yr payback etc.
I want to ask if doing a Phd is a wise option ?? or If I get some waiver would it suffice my purpose ( a jump in career) ???

Pls do give in your inputs on how to proceed after GMAT considering the investment and time factor
