I ve done my btech from icfaiTech hyderabad. Passed out in 2009. Worked with Minvetsa Infotech in hyderabad till now and moved to chandigarh nw for my prep for CAT 2010. Would also be working at present along with my prep till june.

With this change of stream i know it will be difficult for me to answer questions in PI if at all i get calls from any MBA institute. I am here to listen from people, about their experiences who all have attended interviews. Hope to get a good response.

I am Sandeep, working with MNC and have 7 years of work exp. I wrote CAT exam this year for the first time. I understand the paper was relatively easy this time which will eventually increase the cut-off. Please share your views on likely cut-off for CAT 2009.

Secondly due to delay in declaring results, I believe this will give very less time for interview post declaration of results. Kindly share your experience if someone has attended the same earlier.

I am Vibha(24) from Delhi...by profession I am a Chartered Accountant. Have completed the same in Jan 2008..after it's completion I have joined a private Organisation (in Service Sector). I am still continuing with that company and having experience of 1.5 years (approx). Simultaneously I have completed B.Com from DU (school of Correspondence)
My dream is to get in into one of the top 10 colleges of MBA (IN INDIA).
That's all about my profession and my dream..
About my nature..I am friendly,loving and quite sanki about my career..etc etc..I love gardening travelling and I am quite foodie also..

Iam Anju. Am a B.Sc IT 2009 graduate from Mumbai University currently working with a Digital Mapping Organisation. My aim in life is to be a System Manager and be a part of some reputed IT organisation. I wud like to pursue MBA in Systems (part time) but, at present am little confused about wich university wud b gud 4 part time MBA wich offers gud education plus should be a little comfortable in terms of money....and thus lukin forward for some help from u guys..... Hope i wud get gud response.

Hi Sandeep,
First of all, Wish you all the best in CAT result. Of course students called for GDPI will get less time. But I don't think its going to affect so much. As per my experience, GDPI part is something that you can't learn in any institution. I mean its the test to check your personality. For GD, sound knowledge of socio-economic issues is must. I think so because you can discuss on a topic only when you have knowledge of it.
For PI, no one can tell you that which questions are going to be asked? So just be confident and get your answers ready for some common questions like...
Why MBA?
Why us?
Why You?
Where do you see yourself after 5 years?
Why are you changing your stream from science to MBA?
How will your academic knowledge help you in your career?

These are just few common questions.. Questions can't be predicted, so be prepared for surprise questions. For GD, you can practise with your friends..
