Yet another "New Kid in the block"

Something about my profile:

A typical Indian IT Male with 7 years of experience in IT industry and a B-Tech from IT BHU. Gave GMAT in 2009 January and got a meager 690. Applied to ISB for Co2011 and got dinged without an interview.

Challenges I am facing

Last year I applied only to ISB but this year I am planning to keep more than sufficient options. My taregt is to go for 1 year MBA from India or Abroad. I am finding it difficult

To finalise on the schools
to keep up with application dates

I would be indebted if fellow puys can share their strategy of doing this. I am based out of Pune so if some fellow puys with similar goals are around, I will be happy to meet them in person.

hey ppl i want go for MBA CET.. plz tell me some books for it.
also i m doing Chemical Engg. so for which course should i opt for in MBA,.
is it better to start with CAT for study then go for CET plz help me guys...

Why on PG?

prepared CAT..secured 92 above in simcats.. done miserably in real CAT 2009 ..had attempted only 33-34..still gt a 90 above percentile...need assistance from PG..to excel in CAT as well as other tests..

next one year:

Hello Friends,
Its Debasis From Bhubaneswar.
B.Tech(El & TC), Fresher (But by the time i will sit in gd pi process of my dream colleges , i will be having 6 months of work ex in infosys.)
I am here to seek help regarding career opportunities in MBA and to help others to some extent if i can . Nd one more reason is to make valuable friends .
Also gave CAT dis year ,but CAT was a disaster for me .
Got 97.2 in XAT ,Also got a call from XIMB (didnt attend)
Missed the FMS train by a whisker :banghead::banghead::banghead:. Couldnt convert the FMS gdpi process (not even waitlisted).:banghead::banghead:
May be some thing good waiting for me .
Hope we all PGites will meet at IIMs.
