I am newly qualified CA and currently working in one of the top MNCs.I am interested in challenging job wherein decision making is involved rather than typical accounting or audit.Please guide me what further qualification and what to read involved to get into investment banking.I am very good in acedamics but not much extra-cir activities.What should be my action MBA or CFA etc.

Aim for next one year? try to get into an MBA coll, if not, get work exp and then try again... My first crack at CAT was good, but by mistake.. 😉

I am an an engineer working in aerospace engineering arena for 5 years, having pursued my masters from IITK. With the years I have developed my inclination of getting into the business side of corporate world than the fully technical roles that I have pursued till date.

I am planning to appear for the GMAT sometime around July-August, 2010 and am looking ahead to collaborate with others who are preparing for GMAT for preparation and discussing different opportunities, B School options, etc.
