I am Prashant . Btech E&C; 2008 . 2 yrs job of exp. in UNIX environment .
A simple Btech degree not working for me as far as take-home salary is concerned .
The major areas of problems I face are time-management, DI & DS , Inference based RC , sometimes modern maths . Just got a 75 percentile last year . :-(
Expecting the community to help me out to overshadow these issues .

this is kanak kumar from navi mumbai. i have completed my BTECH in ECE this year only.
As an appearing condidate last year i got 79.8 percentile and desperately want to improve this to a level where i can get a gatepass to IIMs.
heard alot about PG and when i joined the forum i got the copy of the book "all i wanted to speak about CAT". from the book i got to know the importance and the necessity to join such kind of groups if u r staring at the gates of an IIM.
so i joined the group to get the suggestions of experienced puys as well as the aspirants. looking for the best support from all of u and ready to be with u as per my abilities

I am Abhishek from the City of Joy. Though I am not new to the whole CAT and MBA concept, I have never had the chance to delve into it deeply until now. Now the main reason behind this is that my college was in a place where there were in a whole two restaurants, a few shops and maybe one or two tuition centres for BA/MA/etc. Well all that is behind now. I want to take CAT in 2011. This is because I have got a job offer from Infosys and my joining is on November 15th, 2010. I have to take the job due to some obligations. Now there is a year of probation after four months of training at Infosys. So by the March of 2012 my probation will be over and I will be free to join a MBA college. Thus, I have made up my mind to put my heart and soul in CAT 2011.
I have heard a lot about this site and the wonderful community here. I am a new Puy and it would be great to be part of such a community. Looking forward to a wonderful CAT 2011 journey...
