friends m very excited about joining this group.I am a graduate in mechanical Engineer n currently working in power sector.i am interested in doing MBA from any Indian Institute.I have tried my level best to gather info regarding exam preparation from my friends,but in vain.I hope u all would help me in my preparations.M especially interested in Maharashtra CET.N would like to know about the classes and books to refer.Please help.

i m from karnal haryana i have completed my graduation in computer appl way back in 2002

afterwards enters in to elder bro business ( automobile business)

since then assisting him in looking after business activities we are auth. dealrs of swaraj mazda ltd amd mhd three wheelrs

i've joined this comm to get knowledge about the mba prog and also meeting place wth like minded people

right now my priority is to get updated on cat and gmat exams
and also to get clarity between 1yrs AND 2YRS PROG

AND WHICH ONE SUITS ME AND CAN PROVIDE BEST OF THE OPPORTUNITY IN NEAR FUTURE

FOR NEXT ONE YRS MY TARGET WILL BE HMM LET SAY GETTING ADMITTED TO ONE OF REPUTED B-SCHOOL

Most of the top US business schools don't require WE mandatorily.. still it's preferred....
2 yrs are good enough at least to apply bt avg WE in most of the colleges range somewhere in b/w 3.5 to 5.5....
As far as 16 years of formal education is concerned.... it depends... u need to check with specific colleges.... and are u planning to leave LLB after completing 1 year...???

thanx 4 ur assistance......m not plannin to leav LLB.....just in case if i get a chance to study in gud B-school i wud delay my LLB course for that period.....

Hey Everyone,

This is Mustafa. Presently unemployed. I gave the CET in both 2008 and 2009. My total score this year is only 109 points:-(. People around me tell me to get an MBA, nevermind what college I get admission in. What I wanna know how much does the college from where u got ur degree matter vis-a-vis the value of your degree?:

I would really appreciate some advice on this. Haven't really got anyone else I can ask.

Hi mustafa,
I'm of the opinion that the college where you do ur MBA/PGDM is very important...mainly b'coz in the top colleges the faculty,infrastructure,placements are all top class. Apart from that you get to share and study with the most competitive people in the country...

Hi all this is Gagan from Ludhiana. I am new to pagalguy and new to cat as well. I did my four year diploma in mech. engg tool and die from Ludhiana after my 10th

I have also completed my BA(correspondence) 2nd yr with 63 pc marks.
