hello everyone,

i am anurag kumbhaj, just completed my engineering from sikkim maipal institute of technology from electronics and communication.
i'm one among the hefty crowd of CAT-09 aspirants...started preparing very recently...and findin myself in a really bad state in terms of preparations...
i'm here to gain maximum help and take the vibes of the real aspirants...
n being a newbie findin it quite difficult to make proper use of this site...

Hey Guys,

Here to network as well as seek information from alums and current applicants to get an insight about the overall applications process to B Shools in the US & UK - Wharton, NYU, LBS, Harvard, Chicago and Duke (Fuqua) in particular.

I'm looking at a finance and strategy specialization and hence these schools. Been working for about 5 yrs with experience ranging from tax compliance to currently being a business apps/functional consultant.

Gmat prep has just start! A 2010 fall intake is on the radar.

Signed up a few minutes back on the website so still figuring my way through..

hmmm...for a novice like me its still too difficult a job to properly introduce myself...have just joined mba bandwagon

(hopefully to achive a lot) ....i am am pursuing my engineering in computer science jecrc jaipur.....3d year....have to learn a lot from you folks....so hope to recieve your ample support in future....n i will try my posts to make a clearer picture of me...may be dats a grand statement

I am Anshul Gupta..

I have done B. Tech, Mechanical Engineering from IITD....

Currently, I am working in Schlumberger as a field engineer in Siberia, Russia;)

I am on PagalGuy to seek guidance, and learn from other people's experience..

I want to appear for CAT 2009, though I have to start preparation now....

Please advise what threads should I look for...

hi guys......me praveen here completed my engg. in elex. &comm.; with 69.5% ......n right nw workin from last 20 month as service engg. with nokia india......n rightnw prepring for cat 09 as a regular student of time.......

Govt Servant(MoD)
11yrs Exp in Engg Maintenance
BE(Electronics)/7.47- FGPA
Have been studying seriously for my GMAT scheduled for 12 Sep 09 for last 2 weeks
Given only 2 Kaplan CD Tests -
Badly demotivated -550,560;
Then saw mention on Pagalguy that Kaplan CD Tests are dreaded etc
This was from a guy who'd scored 770
So feel better now
Will try other tests -GMAC, ETS etc
