gud day...to ol out thr... Looking for some help..duhhh.. Um done wid my MBA( thru distance edu) anyone who can let me know abt the dual program CFA+MSF(from ICFAI).. iv learnt abt CFA thru the posts..cudnt find one detailed on d dual course..things um luking fr..
1. How different are the two in terms of weightage they carry on your resume.. (considering again academically .. not presentation aspect)
2. Is it practical n feasible to do the dual program whilst working..(for an avg human intellect)
3. Does the MSF hold its seperate wightage ?
4. Considering the fact thr r electives in group 2.. which would be a suggested electve.. given my interest cud lie b/n analytics n accounting.. but not equities..nva managed to deal wid options n futures..
5. pls reply asap.. got a week to enroll..

hi puys! this is varun...
I had quit my job after working for 11 months in IT...wasnt finding it worthy enough to waste time in IT...thought of preparing for mba to get a good pay package.I have no other reason to prepare for mba.
I feel a mba degree from a good college can get me a good package(assuming no recession)

Work ex - over 4 yrs. and currently employed with Hewitt Assocaites India Pvt. Ltd. Its an HRO outsourcing company which provides end to end HR solution across the globe and majorly in U.S. and maintains payroll for some of the domestic indian companies as well. I'm working as Functional System Analyst.

my hobbies are listening to music, travelling... i have travelled alot across india.. except north east india...

that's it for now can't really think of writing anything else about myself... to be very frank i'm not that gud abt describing about myself. ;-))

I am Himanshu Joshi, working as a software professional for more than 6 years. Here is my background:

1. Completed my Bachelor of Engineering (Electrical), with distinction, from REC Bhopal in 2003.
2. Started my career with CSC India Pvt. Ltd. in 2003.
3. Shifted to IBM India in 2005.
4. Changed my company to Birlasoft in 2006. Have been working for Birlasoft since then. My current role is as a Team Leader, leading a team of 6. I have won an organizational level White Paper presentation at Birlasoft.
7. I have also won an organizational level Re-usable component designing contest at Birlasoft.


I am interested in appearing for GMAT may be in January.
Can anyone guide me what can be a good score for my profile?

I am here to get suggestions from those pursuing MBA's and alma mater also.
I am interested in pursuiing MBA in financial markets(not Finance) I want to do in specilization like MBA in capital markets(offered by NMIMS in mumbai or PG diploma in financial planning and wealth management.

I want to know the colleges offering such courses and when the courses commence.
