But how should we go about preparing for Quants n other sections brother??

Dude!

U can Check websites of CL,TIME,IMS,PT,CF for analysis of previous year IRMA papers.
There u will be able to frame a pic of type of Qs in all the 4 sections.

I'm determined to get into IRMA and i've the heart to help others but bearing one thing in mind i'm forced to ask a question. Can IRMA fetch me a good job?
I heard that the recruiters r mainly NGO's and i know they can't afford to pay much. Will one get a job with a salary of atleast 25,000?? We've to invest 3-3.5 lakhs and 2 yrs. Will i get the returns? Is IRMA worth a try? What's the use in investing 3- 3.5 laks if it can't fetch a job with 25,000?? Please guide me? I'm in a dilemma and i'm confused.

hi all iam irma 2006-08 participant....so robably i cld ans ur queries

Hi Seniors,

I also would want to know about the placement scenerio in IRMA. I will surely have to take a loan to pursue my studies there, but if I do not get a good amount of salary, it would be a hard time for repaying back.

1. Please tell us how many people got good salaries around 5 lpa i mean. How many got lesser than that?

2. What is the average salary around?

3. Can people go for UN related organisations directly from IRMA?

4. What about government development agencies?

5. What about Agri-Business Industries?

I am ready for a hard life ahead. But financially it must be motivating too, to a certain extent.

Thanks for shooting these questions. It will be helpful to all of us if answered by the seniors....

hey @rave
i would like to clarify some points though not a irma student
firstly the fees is around 2.5 lakhs for 2 years which gets kindof refunded if u work in a ngo for 3 years
next the salary irma boasts of alll the major fmcgs and all coming to its campus for recruitments but it is the irmans who opt for ngos over fmcgs as the irma culture is that way
the highest placement was around 60k and lowest around 25k
and please dnt go to irma with a slalry oriented attitude ( this is speak from a personal experience) as they are npot looking at people who will fetch them high sal but managers who will make a difference so be very clear why u wana go to irma if sal is the only criteria please look at general mba

@ankit

I agree with you friend!
I have read some where that IRMA looks for students who can become "RURAL" managers and not just managers, the xperienced professors there can identify this during PI.
Neway IRMA students are the best people to answer these Queries.

Mine's not a salary oriented attitude but i've to get the returns for my investment. I think that all of u got me wrong. Ne way i've to take a loan to pursue it. So the question was will i get a job to cover all these... I prefer IRMA over any insti because it's very different and through IRMA I'm sure i can do something to my people and my country but at the same time i've to look after my family.

Hello PPl

The prospectus and application form is now available for download.
www.irma.ac.in/admissions2007
The paper pattern is published in the instructions to fill the application form.

0ne question...

Do we have to print the admission form on one paper (back to back) or on two papers ???

Thanx
~ Gulshan

It is always better that U print form in two papers!
That no inconvinence is caused to the processor.
