If you believe in the wisdom of ranking systems. ISB is ranked 3 notch above IIMC by Outlook in the 1 year Prog. Maybe there is the same perceprtion with potential candidates as well.

PS: I am applying at IIMC and XLRI as well.

Hey guys..one strange dilemma regarding evaluations.....
They say its preferable to get recos from immediate supervisors.
But my part of story is different... I had an immediate boss from 2009 to Apr 2011. After his transfer, the new boss who came in Apr 11 and with whom I had good relations, unfortunately expired in Nov 11. I could get an immediate functional boss only in May 2012.
Guys, if I plan to take reco from earlier boss I think it becomes too old and if from the newer boss then questions may be raised on his evaluation in such a short period of time i.e. May -Sep 2012.

Further is the immediate supervisor + old college prof combination for the recos appropriate?

Yeah this is fine .. although if possible avoid ur clg reco

But what do u suggest regarding supervisor....the one with 4months interaction period or the one with interaction period from 2009-11.

heyy guys.. i wanan apply to isb for 2013 entry.. but i am planning to take my gmat after my cat this year that is after oct..

Honest ans is one who can write better for u

2009 is not old .. ur application focus shud b last 5 yrs. 1-2 yrs don't define u completely
