I have been a silent reader for a while. I am a re-applicant and had my interview yesterday. Writing in to share my interview experience.
The alums were running early in my case and my interview was rescheduled to about 1.5 hours ahead of the actual scheduled time. I was informed about this on a call. So, its probably a good idea to just be ready much ahead in time (so you don't have to rush)
One word essay: Trouble
Questions asked: Tell me about yourself. What do you do at work. What were the challenges I faced. What has changed from the last time I applied. What was the feedback that I got. A little bit on my hobby and my take-away from it. What do I want to do post my MBA.
There was no grilling, very conversational. Lasted for 30 mins.
The questions were not asked in those many words literally, but that's what they wanted to know.

@kanusep12 Xth and XIIth CBSE - decent %; undergrad from a top 10/15 in US... GMAT: crappy; finance background.. worked in States for a some time before moving back to India... working here in the front office of a financial services firm. total exp: ~2yrs and 9 months.. decent ECs.. 1st time applicant.. anything else u wanna know?

Like all of you, I too hope to crack ISB Hyderabad and study with Finance as a specialization. I already have done MBA from FORE School of Management. My only reason for doing MBA from ISB is the brand value. My profile is as follows:-
Class X:- 82.37%
Class XII:- 84.9%
Grad:- 65.61 (Maths Hons)
PGDM IBM:- 2.67/4(CGPA)
I am still searching if doing an executive MBA would at all be useful for me. But the course structure of ISB is such that only someone with previous knowledge may be able to grab the concepts and do well. So I am thinking for it. At the same time I would be looking to pick up lot of certifications to improve my Extra Curricular which is practically Nil. Hope to learn from you guys a lot.

I thought my profile was at least worth an interview...Not got a call yet....Losing hope exponentially now!!

@Carnivalof_rust Was done with my interview a week back at Hyd, never got an sms about it so do check your email on a daily basis. Lots of people aren't informed through sms so don't take the chance! All the best!
