today I called up the adcom.... and told them that I am from HYD(BLR), applied for R1. I asked if all the iv calls have been rolled out... She said that blr ppl can expect calls till 8th

i had my interview today...Mr kannan was in the panel & one other guy i guess some old profs...they asked me about my IIT rank, current profile based questions, asked me to explain the business strategy & then they gave me an consulatant based case scenario to solve...i indicated my future goal to be a consultant...they asked me how i came to hyd...i replied by flight & then took a taxi...they asked me to determine the parking lot for hyd airport...here is wat i did .." take 4 hours in the morning & late evening reserved for business purposes & allot per hour 50 flights taking off & landing with a seating capacity of 240. i took total 16 hours in a day for the hyd airport for the case & said other hours can be rationlise based on this assumption, so from 6am to 10 pm, total 8 hours- with 50 flights, & for remining hours a downtime in traffic with 25 flights...calculated 86,000 people at the airport per day...for them 70% of the people with a rental arrangment already made at the airport & for each vehicle 5X5 mtr space for parking lot....Mr Kannan said i missed one basic fundamental here...i asked i feel so, sir can u pl enlighten me ..he said for rental u dont need parking space, it will be mainly drop & go...i said i beg to differ as in Chennai rental do have parking lot...he said ok but then multiply ur final figure by 0.5...so i did smiling....& they asked me if i want to ask something...i asked regaridng the increased batch size & the probability of dilution in the focus per batch size & brand value due to Mohali campus...he said no wharton & harvard has much bigger batch size & for my latter part of the question they replied there is one inst that has 2 campuses & they both rank in top 10, he asked me if i know..i said yes..INSEAD...he said pronounce it correctly...& he asked me if i know any other inst...i said no i know only INSEAD...he said NY stern....i said ok...gud for me ....:)...no question on y MBA, y i got rejected last 2 times...how i my profile has changed nothing...they just asked very selective questions....i dont know what to expect...but i cross checked with the guys in Adcom...result will be out by 15th Nov....so best of luck Puys....njoy...

Had to reschedule my Skype interview from Nov. 7 as I am out on a business trip. Interestingly, they gave me Nov. 12 slot
