@zapped Dude, I know the anxiety level at this point in time, but it looks like that the change in app number has nothing to do with the interview calls. Mine changed agesss back.. So relax, Im sure they have screwed up with the timeline of the interviews, and obviously they will be conducting interviews way past 8 oct..I really feel that all those who deserve an interview call will get it sooner or later.
Besties..shoot me up with questions,if any, but honestly all we can do is prepare...It's a waste of time trying to figure out any co-relation...

No correlation as such at all. The changed number seems to be just application reference number on the pdf of your application that you get from ISB's site.
Moreover, ISB once mentioned that the interviews will be held till 15th November.
But they today told that calls are over for Hyd(Blr). I sooo was hoping for a call at least.

I heard the video was only for the purpose of screening the candidates on communication skills.

Amigo, prepare for the worst! Apart from 'seeing you' they are also interested in how creative/articulate/what-not you are. If in 90 secs you do not pack substance at all, do you expect to be filtered? If what you fill there is some real 'material', isn't the AdCom justified in knowing more?
AFAIK, the more the essay questions the more is your room to strengthen your case. A video is no exception. So fill in some material that shoves your candidature past the other's profiles and ensure that you can answer any questions on what has been presented.
Just my two cents. Feel free to take only what much as what suits you.

Unsolicited advice, this. About guesstimates and design questions, those are asked only if you guide the interviewer up to that point, or if something in your CV shows that you are good at it. For the first scenario, well it's up to you how you'd control the flow, and in the second scenario, well, you're already good at it :)
Don't lose sleep over these questions. Learn to defend your application well, and you are good to go.

If there is anything, it will be explicitly mentioned in the interview call email that you receive from ISB. But mostly, nothing is required except for the print-out of your invite letter/email.

Had my interview yesterday. IIM (Indian/IT/Male) with 3.5 years work ex.
Pretty straight forward interview. Nothing unexpected. It was a 2 member panel (both alums I guess).
They asked me mostly about my work-ex and 'current affairs' that is in line with my work-ex. Eg. in my case, I was asked as to why Infosys is not doing so well nowadays.
Then I was questioned on my extra-curriculars and essays. Interview lasted for about 40 minutes and it wasn't stressful at all..!! No questions on Why MBA? Why ISB and the likes.
My 2 cents: Know your application like the back of your hand..!! Anything and Everything you say must coincide with what you have written..!!
Fingers crossed. Nov 15th looks like a century away :)
