@Slimsawt my understanding is that all results for R1 are given on a single day, Nov 15th. Are they given at one go? not so sure about that.
The ISB website mentions "On or before 15th November".
@debjeet : i asked that guy twice who called me in for interview, he replied both times in affirmative...results will be out on 15th no doubt....all results on the same day....
@Carnivalof_rust Ohh ok...thanks.

Hi All

I had my interview a few days back. I think it lasted for around 30 minutes. Though I was talking to myself for a few days after the interview analysing what I said and how I said it:)

my profile-700, 10 yrs, FMCG ex, have a start-up now.(HYD, BLR)
My interview was quite stressful, they only asked me from my essays, I did mess up one estimate a little bit. First half I was nervous, second half I was full of energy and excitement.
I suggest you all to be thorough with your application.

And don't over prepare, there will be surprise questions anyways.

Thanks

just a thought , results to be out on 15 , i have my interview on 11 th , how would isb manage to declare results so soon , or the in later stages just a formality ,can someone throw some light

@dreamisb2 No, it is quite possible and most of the schools do so. Even XLRI declares its results within a day or two after their last interview. I'm sure they keep on grading (giving points) to every candidate they interview. And then, it's just a matter of normalizing the scores across different interview venues and medium and sorting them in descending order before declaring the results. This is just my opinion and not a fact.

Guys, I think that all Indian B.Schools have some rating systems, in which all parameters are taken care of.I am IIMA PGPX selected candidate for this year, and I am clearly told by the ADCOM that every candidate is given some rating for different parameters and final list is based on that. When I appeared in the interview,it seemed to me that panel was pre decided either to take me or to reject me and I felt that my interview was just a sort of cross check.I don't think that interview duration has any impact on final selection and if panel asks you difficult questions and you answer those, you assume that you have done well in the interview.I had very friendly interview with IIM C for about 40 minutes, but I was not selected. On the other hand I had IIM A interview that lasted for about 25 minutes, in which I was asked few weird general awareness questions normally not expected in B.School interview and I somehow managed to talk .So if you are asked difficult questions in the interview , assume that you have done well.Interview is just a part of final selection.

Check! and the countdown begins.

puys.. need a little help here... although it might be a silly question... i have my gmat on 28th nov (can`t help it.... last min decision and convenient dates are not available) and am planning to appear for R2..I know one can apply to isb with an unofficial score card but in the instructions section of the online application it`s written that the official score cards shud reach within 2 weeks of the deadline... so a bit confused.. please clarify!

@anu_161 - Hey, my skype interview hasn't happened yet!! Hurricane Sandy caused widespread power outages and mine had to be rescheduled.. Will post here again once my interview is done.. When is yours scheduled?
@sayanddude - Just choose ISB among the 5 list of schools you want to send the score on test day and rest GMAC will take care of sending the score directly to ISB.

If I am correct, results for selected candidate comes on 15th evening and for rest reject/ waitlist status is updated on 16th.

R1 applicant can you please provide some inputs on the video essays ?!?

@sayanddude - Just to clarify, after the test, u will receive the unofficial score, you will need to upload the same when you submit your application. The official score will be sent directly by GMAC.
@ashah79 lol don't think it was handwriting analysis. my interviewer actually counted the total number of words. he realized that i've exceeded the limit and pointed out the same.

My interviewer dint even look at what i have written !! I must have written atleast 200 words πŸ˜ƒ

@fAUXPASS : This is the first time i applied in R1...i have given my earlier interviews on 25th Dec & 17th Dec...results for reject came on 14th Jan & 16th Jan....I didnt follow then if selects get the confirmation on the same day....this year selects will get confirmation on 15th Nov...this i am pretty sure....
