@RJB1 Had my interview on Nov 2nd..A panel of 2. One from adcom(lady) and one Alum...lasted for just 15 minutes.. no why MBA why isb..very very friendly chat..the just wanted to see how ISB can add value to me as I already have 8 yes of exp and how am I preparing for placement just in case if it doesn't happen from isb...yeah and also abt my hobbies( I had discussion with the Alum on BMW3series Vs Audi A4) in all they were happy to see a non IT diverse candidate. I had the chance to go with the adcom for lunch and spent around 1 hr in informal chat..very informative and very very friendly.. fingers crossed for Nov15th...
The last interview date I know of is Nov 12 th ..13th is Diwali and ISB is not working for sure .. So does it give ISB 1 day to decide on the candidatures? I'm sure our fates are already sealed 😃

I had to postpone from Nov. 7 and they decided to interview me on Nov.12. I don't think anything is decided till the process is over and I am sure they don't spend more than possibly am hour at the max to decide whether someone is in/out. Again, what's in our hand is to put the best foot forward. Rest will all fall in place if you believe 😃
Guys..had my interview yesterday on ISB campus...
After sometime of wait, they called me for writing the one-word essay. I guess I wrote well in that. So after sometime called in for a panel, but not the same panel as given in the interview letter. Panel had a lady, a prof and an alumni. Alumni took my essay and started reading as the others started probing.
So it started about my work profile (a mix of field and R&D;). That surprisingly went on for more than 30 minutes! Then the usual why MBA? Why ISB? goals & hobbies and concluded with a question from my side. Lasted for about 50 minutes..
It was mostly me talking all the way and they cross-questioning. Guess it had been same for all others.
The list for that day had around 40-odd people and 4 time slots. Interviews are friendly, but you cannot really guess whats the mindset of the profs at the end. So dont worry, give your best shot.
Key-takeaways: Do not overprepare, and prepare the basics (profile/y mba/y isb/goals/essays). Rest is upto the interviewer's interpretation.
Has any other noticed change in app number after interview?
@rohan80 I don't think there is a quota. Obviously ISB is looking for diverse student base, but it does not mean a quota for industry. It is clearly mentioned in their website
@MBAgyan2012 Copy-pasting others essay is disastrous. I don't think people who copy will ever make it to any B-School.

@debjeet : anyone was there in R1 who had an app no change but didnt get any call...just trying to figure out if it is linked to the selection process..
Guys do post if any of u find any app no change post intrvw...
Had my interview on Oct 22 and my app no has changed post interview. Posting this cause fellow puys have asked to do so.
